What does it feel like to have an ex-girlfriend?

i've never had one and am curious what it feels like? is it awkward when you see them or is it terrific when you see them?

Depends on how/why you broke up, and whether or not you have feelings for them. IMO once you truly love them, the feelings never completely go away.

For me, it's bittersweet more than anything. But life goes on

Kind of weird. I don't talk to any of them, sooo

It's weird to think that you can spend 2/3/4...however many years with someone.....memories, life events, happiness, sadness, achievements, etc and then one day never talk to them again.

Had a crushing break up 5 years ago, she's down under through the Med and US last time I heard. I've been through 4 cities and now soon to be everywhere with the forces.
That pain takes a long time to settle from. On the flip, dated maybe 7 chicks since, couldn't give a flying **** if I see them again, can't remember some names and dated for maybe ~6months, treated them awful, they always seem pleased to see me though. But that first one, seen maybe 5 times, feels like the world stops. Odd how it plays.

It’s not awkward to see an ex here or there. I haven’t had any major issues with anyone that’s caused animus so it’s nice to catch up when we run across one another.
