Flaying has gotta be up there with the worst ways.

Same with any method of being slow cooked.

Anything where you rot slowly, like those tortures where they stuff you in a bucket with only your head out and let you just piss/chit in the bucket till you rot slowly in your own filth.


Any death that is slow enough to give you ample opprotunity to fully understand what is about to happen and that you are about to end is pretty brutal.

Would rather die screaming on fire than know that I'm about to have to take that "Breath" of water via drowning.

A few of the Isis executions were pretty bad. There was a guy set on fire, and another run over with a steamroller. Literal pancake in a under 20 seconds.

But the worst is one I saw when I was a kid. They put a live rat on a guys stomach, then a scorching hot bowl on top of it. Not only are you burnt from the scorching hot bowl, but the rat burrows it's way through your stomach and out of the side of your body to get away from the hot steel.

A tin basher who had just turned 25 and got his ticket , was working on the top of a skyscraper when he slipped on the frost while working on the roof , causing him to plummet down a 2 meter wide air supply duct that runs the entire height of the building .
They opened up the duct 3 floors down where it made a 45 degree hoping he was able to stop , but just found a streak of blood .
There’s 3/4” sheet metal screws holding all the joints every 8 feet .
At first they couldn’t figure out where he was,but then another contractor seen him laying on the concrete floor the buildings front parking area .
He had slid down 30 or so floors trying to stop , only to knock off the cap off the end of the pipe at high velocity and falling another 20’ .
He had massive lacerations , and they kept him alive for two days before they gave up .

that's the kinda chit that makes you doubt that God exists.. at least a benevolent God. Tigers and other big cats go straight for the throat when they kill their prey but then u have abominations like this that literally have venom that cripples prey so u can eat it alive... wtf

In terms of psychological torment, being buried alive would be one of the worst. In terms of physical pain, flayed alive, burned alive (either by brazen bull or stake).

I would say number one maybe what Clyde did to Darby in 'Law Abiding Citizen'. Given that he had planned it carefully for a long time and taken great care to make it as horrific and agonizing as possible.

There's plenty of far worse things you can come up with unless OP is basing his questions on known torture methods

Being trapped in a pitch black, sound proof box just large enough to sit in
Air pumped through it so you don't suffocate
A small amount of human remains and water is delivered per day, just enough to make you have it, but not enough to keep you alive longer than a week or 2
Audio of people screaming is played every now and then
Left like that until you die
