have you ever done illicit drugs and/or been diagnosed with a mental illness and/or been convicted of a serious crime? were you honorably discharged?

That sounds like a nightmare... even worse than linuxjons house.

I hope your situation improves OP.

OP why are you putting yourself into that kind of living situation?

It sounds like a zombie homeless apocalypse. I would rather live on the street than do that.

I firmly believe that your life is so ****ty right now job and career wise because you make choices like the choice you made where to live.

You can't hope to get into the mindset of ceo 10 k a day living among cretins.

I already told you that CA unemployment was paying up to $2500 a month this year.

You certainly could earn $2 k working every month as well.

Which would give you plenty of money to live in a much better situation.

So to me, you WANTED to live there. Whether it be drugs-you already said you went on a bender, no responsibilities, or you simply like living as decrepit as possible because that is what you have grown accustomed to, there is a reason why you chose to live that lifestyle.

You don't sound like an idiot. You are 30 years old. It is time to either make a change in your life path and HOW YOU THINK, or you are going to end up dead by age 40.

Not reading.

Camera(s). Dog. Pepper spray. Cell phone with a short-term escape strategy.

Most people work hard for money so they can avoid living without a car or unsecured home. Live somewhere you need to apply to live, with security, people standing up for you, renter's law, other strong institutions backing your purchase, etc.

Okay, I read a little more. Do not use drugs. Find a job WITHIN THE CONSTRAINTS of your network, what jobs exist in the market.

Try connecting to others you wish to share some parts of your work with.

ADHD that's it.

Honorable discharge under medical conditions. The truth is I lost too many tools on the aircraft flightline which is a huge hazard and because they liked me they asked if I wanted to stay in or cross train. I told them if I stay in I want Spec ops like combat control or pararescue. They said hell no lol.

The first time I drank It was 3 days after I turned 21 because I was working overtime in a psych ward. (No I was not one of the patients lol)

The first time smoked weed was the day I left the military at age 26 and it was with medical squadron commanders daughter. She was doing heroin and her dad was beating her mom but he acted like this nice guy. Sad world man.

The 2nd time I ever smoked weed was when I moved to Tucson and a stoner I worked with in Tucson got me baked one time.

The 3rd time was in San Diego and lived with 3 stoners. I was high every day for the whole 6 months I was there. This was about 3 months after I left the military.

Around 3.5 years later I did it around 1.5 months ago for about a month.

I generally dont like alcohol and have never been drunk. High tolerance.

Never done anything else besides attempt chain smoking cigarettes for 2 weeks. Couldnt even get addicted and that stuff made me anxious. I prefer nicotine free vape.

I think I get paid in 4 days so I'm going to try and do this the right way but seriously just the fact that you offered ups my confidence as a person. The kindness of a stranger is one of the most heartfelt things to me personally. Thank you for your offer, I will reach out if I dont find reason to manage the bill.

I chose to work in the covid hospitals in the south bronx and lose money doing that because I felt a strong calling to help. I love helping other people, makes me feel a true sense of accomplishment and happiness deep inside.

So multiple times in my life I saved 5k here or 10k there and just took many months off and explored the US. I love traveling and I find the best experience in my life meeting international travelers in hostels. I swear these people are 10x better thqn my lifelong friends, makes me mad I grew up with American friends.

I need balance. No more saving up piles of cash and then go exploring for months. Time to be an adult.

I should have gotten:

- multiple well review personality tests

- A career coach

- A life coach

This would have:

1. Made me realize what I am good at

2. Given me direction

3. Given me confidence that I was making a good career decision

My dad always told me that I need a job that I can do if I lose my health and become disabled so I always ignored the trades but I'm so high energy I need to be in the trades, building things so I can see my work at the end of the day.

Honestly I think you should check yourself into a mental hospital to help sort your issues. You need to surround yourself with people that can help you.

If she comes at you violently, just knock the kunt out. What's the problem? You yanks are soft
How dare you!

Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner.

this is the highest drama OP we've had in years

holy

you need to take a serious step back, chill the fuk out for 30 minutes, go away from your home, and think about what your most important problems are right now, prioritize them and write down some solutions. you're going a mile a fukin minute in this thread so it's no surprise everyone thinks you're on drugs. i sure do.

you're not going to solve your childhood trauma in the next week, you probably can solve your housing issues in a week.. start there.

F that. I'd rather sleep in my car.

I had an issue with a meth head neighbor who pulled a gun on me. Long story short got him kicked out.

Seems as if you don't have that option. Would rather sleep peacefully in my car with the beautiful San Diego weather than live in a crack den.

You porbably missed the part pages ago where I said I own up to all of this and I could have prevented it and I am no longer freaking out about it.

I try not to argue but I can't let this one go.

A man can barely get away with using self defense against a woman so its a unique situation.

Also as someone who started cage fighting at 19, joined the military at 23, worked 100 hour weeks, joined the fire dept at 25, and by 27 Had drove to every major city in the US living in his car even in negative temperatures and came from and extremel violent, abusive and poor household I don't think I am weak.

Only read first page. Don't understand how this little lady would screw you over this bad. Do you have a car?

Move valuables in your car trunk. Stop playing rent immediately. File small claims court case for deposited and previous months rent back (won't help you immediately but some cash in your pocket later isn't bad). Buy cheap lock for interior so you can shower and sleep .

Survive on mcdonalds dollar menu for 1-2 months to get deposit for new place to live. I see ads all the time for single bedrooms in houses for cheap.

Instead of making threads, why aren’t you out there working a second job. No disrespect but I was working two jobs (night crew grocery store, sales during the day) while attending school. Stop with the “help with my situation” chit & start DOING. Yea, I lived in San Diego, while attending school...it’s not that hard.

Second, get a Bible, start with the Gospel of John & start praying, I couldn’t have done it without God.

Best advice I can give, hope your life takes a turn bud.
