what's the worst that could happen?

'cause i'm not gonna make it.

broke my arm last saturday and i am so over this stupid splint.

can't straighten my arm. they bent my hand into an uncomfortable angle. elbow is sore. getting a rash from something in the wrapping (sensitive skin).

i want to stretch my arm straight so bad. and my wrist. supposed to get a cast on the 24th.

if i sawed this thing off (think i could do it with a dremel) and traded for something like this would that be so bad?

https://www.amazon.com/Splints-Carpa...s%2C253&sr=8-7

there is no comfortable position, just changing areas of discomfort. distal end of radius about an inch and a half down from the wrist joint.

I broke my wrist playing hockey by crashing into the boards retrieving a puck and breaking my fall with with hands

Anyways I wanted to get back in the lineup so I sawed the thing off in 4 weeks .... my wrist isn’t the same, like nothing notable but if I overextend myself or if I’m playing hockey and taking a bunch of shots it gets kinda sore

At least make up a cool story. Say you punched an incel trumpcel. And you should probably COPEMAXX. You are low risk, but that is a joint that you don't want to fukk with.

i should come up with a better story. political is probably too touchy still.

if i said something about working on a ranch and getting injured while engaging in an animal husbandry kind of task would you want to tell your friends or would you be sorry you asked?

could just go with "jet ski". plausible and brief.

yeah, that sounds worse. tfw it's a real struggle to unwrap a cheese slice or to get the toilet paper to tear.

I broke my right elbow when I was 12/13. Had to have surgery. Once the splint came off I couldn’t even bend my arm straight had to do physical therapy for a few months.

Oddly I’m left handed but I think my right is actually stronger.
No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.

Did you receive some type of pain management?

I never broke a bone so I am not familiar with the recovery process.

was told 600 mg of ibuprofen. never took that much. took an aleve the first 3 nights.

painkillers and i haven't ever been very friendly...itchy, can't sleep, nausea, have vomitted. i think the last time i had surgery i ended up on dilaudid? had a pain pump once that didn't make me sick, but didn't seem to work very long either.
