There's been far worse times in human history brah. Imagine what the west was like after the fall of Rome.

It’s very obvious with a bit of thought that bringing a child who has not asked to be born into this world is one of the most selfish things you can ever do. The only reasons people can ever come up with as an argument against this are all purely selfish and just reinforce this:

I want to start a family

I want to continue my legacy

I want to keep the human race going

All purely selfish and stretched to what YOU want

Etc. don’t even get me started on the retarded reasons that people have kids like for more welfare money, to trap someone, or to have them do stuff for them etc. All purely selfish as well

Even if you are a millionaire and have a great wife, there is no guarantee that the child is going to have a good life. Incredible amounts of traumas could occur to the child or it could be born disfigured, with Down syndrome, ugly, or even a manlet.

I get a lot of hate for this opinion but I actually state this knowing full well I probably will have a child as well, the biological and societal pressures are crazy strong. I’m just self aware enough to recognize and admit this. It’s a cruel world full of suffering brahhh

I agree, you should be able to raise them well. But suffering will happen in any case, unfortunately, that's part of the human condition. idk I’m a divorce attorney. There are so many cases where the parents are being just purely selfish and not thinking of their children’s well-being. It’s normally all about how badly they can hurt their ex despite the repercussions on their kids. One case a mother had her boyfriend kill her ex husband (my client) in the middle of the night with the 5 year old daughter in the house.
