What movie looked like it was going to be shiit but was actually really good?

21 Jump Street for me. A friend dragged me to it and I thought it looked stupid. Man I was wrong on that one.

The Planet of the Apes movie with James Franco is another one.

I thought the new Bladerunner was going to be chit just because every other remake they've done for the past 10 years has been absolute horsechit.

Ended up being one of my favorites in recent memory and I've rewatched it multiple times.

i actually thought the opposite lmao, all i was hearing was how underated it was and how it needs a sequel etc

oh it is really good. I am not even a huge Karate Kid fan - I saw the first two, not sure about 3 as a kid and all but I didn't love them the way some people do. But the show was really good. I watched it through twice on my own and once with my gf. Very bingeable
