When they call, tell them to give you a minute because somebody is at the door. Tell them you're going to put the phone down, but you'll be back in a second after you go answer the door. Set the phone down and walk away. Come back in 15 minutes and just hang up. You most likely pissed them off for wasting several minutes of their time waiting for you to return. It's childish, but it's fun. It also keeps them from preying on some old lady during the several minutes they waited for you to return before they realized you weren't.

Also, insulting Indian things is pretty funny. Indira Ghandi, Taj Mahal, their cricket team, etc. Just start making fun of them using very insulting terms. Make them so angry they can't think straight. Then hang up on them.

I was deluged by these calls a few years back. I was getting them almost every day, sometimes twice a day. I just got fed up and started seeing how much I could piss them off. They get very mad very easily. Eff 'em though. Sacks of chit preying on unsophisticated old people who don't know better. If anyone deserves to be trolled, it's these street-chitting ******

You want this stuff to stop than do this:

Answer the call and mute immediately. Just leave the line open till they hang up. They call again, do it again. Just keep doing it.

After a while they will remove you from the list because it goes to nothing. They are not sure if a human or machine is answering it.

You should watch the Jim Browning videos on Youtube. He detectives these scammers while they are on the phone. He even hacks into their call centers and everything. It's actually really entertaining.

A big scam being done these days by these people is to call old people and get them to buy a fukk-ton of gift cards from a retail store. The scammer will say something like you're computer is hacked, you're grandson/daughter has been arrested, or the you owe the IRS money. The gift card value is supposed to be suffice for payment. When I worked loss prevention many years ago, old people would come into the store and buy $5,000 at a time.
