I just wanted to say that not all of us rednecks are like that.

I take an annual trip to Minnesota for an ice fishing tournament. I own multiple guns. Work on my own cars, when I can. Brew my own beer. Have a veggie garden. And 2 of my 3 kids were born before I got married. (All 3 are with the same lovely lady though). High school diploma, no college degree. And i cant thinking a better way to spend a saturday night then playing guitar by a fire while drinking some beer, smokin a little herb with my buddies, and grilling out. I'm about as redneck as it gets.

But most of the people who claim to be redneck, are just racist asshats who listen to ****ty country music, jack up their trucks to look cool, but never get them muddy, and dont do a damn thing to be self reliant. They just suck. They are appropriating a culture in an effort to garner support for their beliefs, but dont actually live it.

Redneck culture is about self reliance, not racism.

That being said, I understand why people would think that. A lot of rednecks are racist, and get mad at minorities for being on welfare, while taking all the food stamps they can qualify for, and try to work under the table to avoid paying the taxes upon which they rely to survive. But that's just ignorance, overlapping redneck. And **** those people sideways with a cactus.

No hard feelings. Most of my redneck friends disagree with my political leanings, (I dont support trump), (not a huge biden fan either, but I dont want this to go political). And I dont care. I look for the good in people when they show it. The man in this video didnt show any. He is the **** we scrape off the bottom of our shoes. No call for behaviour like that. That wasnt redneck, it was ignorant.

Anyway, have a nice night, and next time you see a redneck in a jacked up truck, chewing on some grizzly, dont make assumptions. (I'll be the first to admit the odds are in your favor of your assumptions being correct, but we can change that).
