I think you underestimate how wildly unpopular this president was. He never had a positive approval rating and was singlehandedly responsible for the biggest exodus from the Republican party that it's ever seen. Probably a good number of Biden voters didn't vote for Biden as much as they voted against Trump.

This is all well and good unit you realize he lost the bellwethers. Why not more consistency with the gains?

Why this result? 100% accuracy in 2012 and 2016 then 18% makes no sense. I mean fuk go back even more elections than that. These counties have been basically 100% going back 6 elections.

Trump had a higher approval rating than Obama during the same time leading up to their elections. And Obama had 95% media support and no pandemic to contend with. Trump expanded his base and gained on his 2016 numbers. Your assessment that he is unpopular is simply not accurate. By every metric, he gained on his 2016 enthusiasm. Biden lost ground from 2016 in literally every state except the 6 or 7 in question. You’re being sold a bunch of goods. Don’t be a sheep

This is not over.

Trump has defeated the Democrats at pretty much everything. The reason for this is that they are arrogant, sloppy, and the corruption is too widespread to be contained.

Be patient. Victory will be Trump's
You were saying he would win the popular vote, and that it was completely impossible for Trump to lose.

Trump's been defeated not just by Democrats, but by Independents and Republicans who came out and mailed in a resounding NO MORE to his shenanigans.

There's only so much cope left to be had. PA gets certified on Monday.

Unpopular according to the media who attacked him at every level and at every chance they got, do you not think that influenced the masses?

Also just about every local news media were parroting the same 5hit.

You're naive if you don't think the MSM and big tech had a negative influence on him, and despite that he still had rallys with people numbered in the thousands , Biden on the other hand ran twice and did a Kamala Harris twice, he dropped out because of a lack of enthusiasm ...

You almost made a good post.

Trump did expand his base. Trump is popular with 70+ million people. Trump did very well with his enthusiasm.

You messed up when you said "Biden lost ground in literally every state except the 6 or 7"

That is false.

Also, do not forget: Almost 80 million people voted for Biden. Any props you give to Trump, Biden deserves more.... because he won.

Unpopular? Trump gained 10M votes from 2016. Excluding the supposed 2020 results, no incumbent has ever lost a presidential election unless they lost support...

A better word than "unpopular" is "divisive". Plenty of people love Trump and plenty hate him. No good gaining 20 million votes if your antics get 25 million out to vote against you.

1. Can you explain how Biden does so well in 6 states but underperforms in the rest of the country. Why didn’t that trend continue in FL, IA, NC, or OH? These are swing states, no?

2. Please also explain how 80 million people voted for Biden while the democrats lost 10 house seats and failed to flip the senate. That goes against every basic election norm and pattern over the past 240 years

probably because 99% of the Biden ballot dump only had Biden selected on the ticket, the rest of the election was mostly free and fair and saw the blue seats flip red, while Biden surged in votes, because the ballot dump didn't have any other (D) candidates checked ....They didn't have time for that , it had to be only 1 choice otherwise they wouldn't have gotten them in in time, anyone with common sense can see that and anyone with any sort of statistical knowledge could see that ...

He's popular enough that it took both a voting software designed for fraud and millions of fake ballots to beat him.

I suspect, and Rudy Giuliani has today made clear, when this is all said and done Trump and crew are going after big media and big tech censorship and fake news agendas very aggressively. This will soon become the biggest scandal in U.S history.
