nah this is nothing compared to the actual mooning of 2017...chitcoins were going up 300-400% overnight. Freaking Raiblocks went from like $2 to $40 in two days lol, we got a long way to go. This is a much steadier (and some would say healthier) climb.

Some dinosaurs did take off (CVC + 400%) but the rest are just rotting.

Your best bet as an investor is to hold and once a stock/btc starts hitting insane gains where you feel like boasting about it, take profits, don't look at price again and be happy with what you made.

It could of course continue going up, there's no free and easy money in markets.

No the only one to hit ATH is AAVE/Lend (and its blown it out of the water). Rune has gotten close (90% of ATH).

People think DeFi has recovered or we are in a DeFi bullmarket because there has been multiple new 10x-100x tokens post-October top like Alpha, Rook, SFI, ESD, Keep3r etc.

Most defi tokens re-traced 70% from October ATH but have now rebounded about 30%.

Never felt more comfortable, it's my biggest bag, and the "dinosaur alt" is starting to pump, and it's about to go up very high.

BAT's network has been growing but it has seen little price action. Feel so bad for this coin, I hope it does a multiplier for Parker's hodl journey alone.

BTC unsurprisingly the big winner and has tripled in value since the post. For newbies, definitely stick to BTC.

The problem with this that it's true and wrong at the same time. A newbie that comes in now and buys an alt is going to 10x his money most likely.
A newbie that came in at the top of the bubble and bought an alt, lost 99% of his money.

It's all about timing.
But right now, as we speak, you can't push that "don't buy alts" narrative, since it looks like it's an alt season.

That being said, I'm going to follow a new system, and sell 20% of my stack after each 2x, and transform that into USDT that I WON'T touch.

Dunno, during bear or bull, I've backed BTC and to a lesser extemt ETH.

I recall actively defending BTC during the 3k-5k dips.

Newbies should still buy BTC even with everything peaking, BTC is the only one that has routinely returned and surpassed ATH over a period of 10+ years.

Couldn't say what newbies should buy, unfortunately the past does not always predict the future. And let's be honest, 10 years is nothing compared to the data we have for other asset classes.

The most important thing to remember is that profit comes from risk, just like in any other investment. In case of crypto with the added risk that the whole asset class could crumble.
