How do you interpret when a girl from dating app says shes a bad texter?(srs)

For example...

She says she's the type to read your message, think of a reply but forgets and doesnt end up replying?

So you're forced to double / triple text them for them to reply. Clearly this looks sad as **** having to double text to get a reply out of them, but how would you talk to these type of people?? (Or are they worth talking to in the first place?)


Personally, if i'm into someone i wont "forget" to message them because i'll be thinking of them and text them regardless.

If they say they're a 'bad texter' - dumb af.

If they aren't responding - probably not that into you, but worth going the extra mile if they're hot cause you never know. In my exp, some girls on dating apps want you to show that, and then it might just be your turn opie.

In one example, i've already gotten their number off the app, had a facetime call and plan to meet the following week - though she doesnt reply in 1-2 days (and replied to a hail-maker third text). thats bad news bears. IDK man - in my head if no reply in 1-2 days then my ass is being ignored and it kinda kills the vibe going into meeting up.

Is it normal for people to not text a couple of messages everyday and go 1-2 days with nothing??? (srs)

Don't spend time worrying about that. Only in the first world is it a strategy to ask a girl for a # only to use it to sound less interested than her in hopes to get with her. That is psychotic chit.

Also its used as a rule for stupid people to not convey their full stupidity until the first actual date.

You answered your own question, IMO.

Whenever there is a difference between what a person says and what they do, I go with what they do pretty much 100% of the time.

I get it, sometimes your response to certain texts is going to be long, so you can't reply right then and maybe you forgot to respond later because you got caught up in something,maybe.I still don't think you would forget about somebody you care about, though, certainly not habitually.

i mean if it's annoying just state clearly something like:

"if you're a bad texter then lets have some other form of communication. calling, meeting up, etc. but i'm not going to play games"

just take control of the situation. if she likes you she will get wet for being commanding, but if she doesn't reply then congrats you weeded someone out with an ulterior motive

exactly, they probably saw your text within a minute or 2 of sending it but they saw who it was and said "meh" and moved on. Maybe theyll respond later when theyre bored

yeah, thats for damn sure... everyone is glued to their phone. Using my own experience, when i took longer than a day to reply to someone, i was ignoring them on purpose because they were the bottom of the barrel or i just wasn't interested.

I'm hopeless at texting. Tbh i hate it. Impersonal and boring. I ignore most of my text messages cos i can't be bothered.

BUT I love the sound of my boyfriend's voice, and fortunately he knows how to use the "call" function on his cellphone.

Pretty much that, sorry dude. I don't ghost people but the longest streak I've had a guy texting me was 14 times, after I told him I wasn't interested initially. Ended up saying it one last time and blocking cus he wouldn't stop.

If it was someone I had interest in, I'd be waiting on their texts cuz it makes me happy.
