Being a bachelor your whole life

I’m sure everyone here is aware of the struggles of maintaining a long-term monogamous relationship, if divorce statistics are anything to go by. But I have to wonder what life must be like living and dying as a bachelor.

I could see it being fine for a while, but I wonder about when you get old, finding that you’re probably alone with no life partner or children to speak. I wonder if some might regret the lifestyle at that point. What do ya’ll think?

We all make choices. And must accept what comes from said choices. No regrets. We all end up 6’ deep at some point. It is what it is

You are on half gay, half incel forum where everyone subscribes to misc standards.

Brb, elbows too pointy.

Lol at implying some people can "choose" to be in a LTR.

In reality though, I think being single eventually will lead to loneliness, which will lead to irrelevance and a strong desire to rope ones self before your time is up.

You singlemaxx until 50 and then knock up a 25-30 year old woman.

divorce stats are kinda skewed - admittedly it was awhile ago that I last checked, but if you look at marriages where it was the first marriage for both partners the divorce rate is around 20%. Some people are getting divorced multiple times and it skews the numbers.

Once you're in your fifties there's a couple of ways you can go - find a younger woman who has had kids that are already older and enjoy her, or find a companion instead of a conventional girlfriend. My plan is to find a secure woman with a pension who likes similar things and settle down.

A lot of long term couples also get into swinging and non-monogamy to keep their sex lives fresh.

i have no plans to get married or have kids because I really value being left alone to do whatever id like and i really cant see that getting too boring tbh. not even going to say im going to smash younger girls all my life, im saying im just going to fill my free time with things i enjoy.

Why not a middle ground?

Live the bachelor life until you're 60..then date a divorced or widowed woman and live out your life with them?

Idk why the misc has this idea that it's either "marriage and kids or die alone"
Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

Wrong. Those won't kill you faster than having your heart ripped out when you build a life/kids with some whore and she sloots. Then takes you for every penny you're worth on top of it. That's when guys punch their ticket.

Unless you got other bachelor friends or a strong friendship group that enjoys the same activities as yourself it could be a very boring and unfulfilling life. I'm sure some people are hardwired for a life by themselves but I would think most people need some meaningful relationships to maintain sanity into their older lives.

2 kinds of lifetime bachelors.

- Those with truly interesting lives. World travelers, entrepreneurs, etc. Dont want to get tied down. Usually have a rotation of women to choose from. Generally not lonely. Dont want kids, enjoy living life to the fullest and bouncing from experience to experience. Maybe 5% of bachelors are in this group

- Loser copers. Bachelors, but not by choice - even if they convince themselves they are. MGTOW type. Use free time to complain on internet, play video games, etc. 95% of bachelors are in this group, but think they are in the first group.

So being a Bachelor means you don't have any girls in your life? LMFAO. I'm technically a Bachelor but have 3-4 girls I'm in "long term fwb relationships" with who all know I have other girls in my life. brb I get more "loving", sex and everything else in a week than most married brahs get in a month. Enjoy new girls when I travel to foreign countries and won't ever change the way I'm living. Everyone has to figure out what lifestyle is best for them.

Just spread your seed and leave. No need to date the woman you impregnate. Make sure you spread your seed in different countries tho so you can immediately leave afterwards

There's definitely an age where you'll want to settle down and have something semi committed, but that time doesn't have to be until at least mid 40s or 50.

imagine being like 60 though and still single, your options are terrible.

yeah you could be married to an ugly un****able sloot your same age since highschool but atleast it would be your lifelong companion and someone you trust. Imagine being 60 and trying to find old un****able ladies to hang out with that have grandkids and chit. That is why so many of them just say fuk it and go whoremax in asia. Whoremax until your health gives out and knew you had a good run.

My favorite is the "muh hobbies" cope. These fools assume that a) their hobbies will always be the most important thing in their lives and b) that they'll forever be able to physically do those hobbies. Brb. Going rock climbing, skateboarding, surfing, mountain biking, backpacking across the world at 60+ years of age. Delusions of piss.
