5 amazing friends or 2 million cash?

You can either pick between having amazing friends until death who you will regularly hang out with, motivate you, get you to try new things, become your emotional support (no homo), and are basically all best man quality or 2 mil?

5 best friends. I already am set with $$ and my future earnings

Had the core 7-9 group of friends where we would always do things together, but life happens when you get older and it's harder to see eachother and we drift apart.. At this stage in my life I'd rather have the ride or die's

Problem with giving your “friends” two million is that they forget you exist instantly.

Easily money. The older you get, the less friends are a big deal and the more money is a big deal.

The friends you described can easily net you way more than 2 million dollars on top of the emotional support and comradery

Easily the friends. You have to be lucky af and circumstances have to be just right to have FIVE lifelong, perfectly reliable, amazing friends. Literally, everything in life becomes more manageable with those kinds of bonds.

Actual good friends are rare as sh*t

Give me the 5 friends
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Not me and I'm assuming most don't (acquaintances and drinking buddies don't count). How many of your friends would: 1. drop what they're doing and help you if you needed help, 2. let you borrow money, 3. pay you back in a timely manner if they borrowed money from you, 4. wouldn't sleep with your girl even if your girl was flirting. If you know more than one person who would do all 4 of the above you're incredibly fortunate.

Plus the older you get, the smaller number of friends are around to do those things. People in their 30-40's are "grinding" and starting/raising families. It's hard enough doing that but adding the time to nurture and maintain a friendship is hard unless you find the right bro's

I am introverted, have my girlfriend and a enough of a social circle to the point where I don't need 5 "great" friends. I like my circle. I find 0 value in spending money on unnecessary possessions, and averaged around $1600/mo expenses living in NYC for 3 years. The 2 mil absolutely sets me up. I'll hang out with my girl, my current friends, family, and her family, and fill the rest of my time on other pursuits.

If your first thought is your friends sucking the 2 million away from you, then yea, I'd choose friends too.

Easiest decision ever

Both your posts in these similar threads shows just how broken you are as a person. Mentally, morally, and ethically.

This question has so many unspoken layers.

The big one I guess is, why would you need some 'magic' to give you 5 amazing friends? Does this 'magic' change you in a way that makes these amazing friends hang around and if not, why don't you have them already and/or why would they stay if this 'magic' is the only reason you have them to begin with?

I've got a bunch of friggin awesome friends and I can't imagine a world without them. We all have a bunch of overlapping hobbies but the overarching commonality in our circle is that everyone is fun to be around. Not a week went by this year where I didn't hang out with at least a few of them.

As far as the $ goes, 2 million isn't going to go far unless you put it to work for you. If you are in your 20s 2 million could be your ticket to early retirement or fun for a decade or so, totally depends on how you use it but it certainly is not enough on its own to just spend it indiscriminately.

This is a pretty interesting question.
Eat in a deficit to lose weight.
Hit your protein and fat minimums to stay healthy and keep your gainz.
Lift heavy and do HIIT to look and feel awesome.
Use the internet to learn why you should do these things and how to do these things.

5 Amazing friends. Making 2 mill over a couple decades isn't that difficult. Try finding 5 people you can rely on to be there for your through thick and thin. Never gonna happen.
