I got a hair transplant in Turkey (Pics)

Losing my hairline was messing with me to the point where I knew I had to come up with a solution. So I began researching online the cost of repairing my hairline through transplant. The money here in the states is pretty astronomical for the procedure, so I started exploring other places around the world. I found this place in Turkey that seemed to have a decent reputation, though it is tough to know for sure online. Anyway, I decided to roll the dice. What do you guys think?

It was actually really easy. I got in contact with one of their reps through Whatsapp. She outlined the process, had me send in pictures and then gave me an estimate. I arrived in Turkey, had a guy with a sign holding my name up. They brought me to the hotel, to the hospital and then back to the airport when I was done. I couldn't believe how smooth it went.

Lol that hair transplant tourism has really became a thing here. Especially among middle easterns, common sight to see a bald arab walking around

So the healing process was 10 days. Meaning I couldn't cover it or anything for that length of time. After 10 days I could wear a hat. But honestly, I didn't really care. I went about my business with my head all scabbed up.

What about the natural hair you still had (e.g in the middle and beyond the receded part), did they replace that, or will you have to get it replaced if it falls out?

Lol my dad did both his hair and his teeth at the same time. He was full bald and they pulled all his teeth. I remember him never leaving the house.

Yeah man, I'm pumped. It does, my front hairline is now resistant to DHT. So I anticipated more hair loss and went back a little further than one might suspect looking at my before photos. I got 3000 graphs.

They numbed up my head pretty good but the initial needle was irritating for sure. The flight from Boston to Turkey was about 13 hours, I flew Turkish airlines which was actually amazing. Great food and service and decently comfortable seating in comparison to other planes.

The flight and trip were totally separate, but everything was included in the hair package. So for ALL transportation, 3 nights hotel stay and procedure, it ran me $1900. The flight from Boston to Turkey was roughly $900 at the time, but I'm sure those flights are a bit cheaper now.

Actually met a few UK bros there. They were funny as hell. One of the guys was a maniac boozing and doing drugs right after the procedure. You're not supposed to have alcohol within 48 hours of the procedure and for a few weeks after.

Does the hair grow like your normal hair after the surgery? Any kawk reduction surgeries in the same clinic(asking for a friend)?

mirin srs, would probably get one if mine starts receding based on that

do the hairs ever turn grey if you have or start to get grey hair elsewhere?

I took it from the back of my head and moved it to the front, so whenever the back of my head starts graying my front will too. I imagine it will gray differently when that time comes, but I'm not too concerned about it. Could look kind of cool
