Where are my XLM boyos? It's looking promising! I have 31k shares that I got from 2017.
I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky. I never told anybody to lie, not a single time; never. These allegations are false. And I need to go back to work for the American people. Thank you.

Do you any of you boys like DeFi/Uniswap microcaps? Big, big money made on those this year, and still going - you run a 5-50x on them quite easily if you're early. If you're interested I'll shill you one, if not then I won't spam. I know you guys mostly love your last-gen big caps.

Everyone has varying risk tolerances. I've avoided the defi movement because i'm working with considerably more money than i was in 2017. Back then, I was treating crypto like sports betting and jumping on the latest shills "wiTh tHe beST aDVIsorY BoaRD wE'Ve EvaRR seEn"

Now my strategy is to dump large amounts into boring projects with viable products that i've vetted while they're low, and then pull profits after they pump. In fact, I'm already eyeing my exit as the current fear/greed ratio in favor of "greed" is quite evident.

The instant I see a post where a random comes in here asking for advice on whether or not he should take out a loan to buy crypto, i'm selling everything. It played outexactlylike The Big Short movie last time someone did that. I saw a user post that exact question in one of these threads late in 2017 and it made me raise my eyebrow. Sure schit the entire thing blew up shortly after.

Hey guys I was thinking of taking out a loan to buy Bit Coins, I can get $50k at 26% APR, if B.T.C. goes up 5x then I can pay off the loan easily and keep lots of profit.

Or should I use it to buy shares of Ripple or Ethellium instead? They're a lot cheaper.

Yup, but I wouldn't dare attempt to guess an expiration date for an options trade on that short lol. Would just wait until a dip to 440 or so to get in.

Yes, that was me.

I'm doing alright right now. Hindsight is 20/20, but I haven't had OMG in well over a year, probably a year and a half.

I sold a lot of my OMG for ZEN back in October 2017, and have been just holding and staking my ZEN since then. I sold in May 2018 and rebought during the Binance listing. Obviously I wish I went heavier into BTC, but I decided to hold ZEN, which is up big time this week.

Lots of great news and partnerships have been occurring with ZEN recently, and more on the way. This isn't a "scam" or "****coin" project like so many out there, and it has the support of Grayscale. That's the project I'm most heavily invested in now.

But, I do the math at times of if I just sold certain coins at a certain time for BTC where I'd be now, but all that will do is piss me off.

My dumbass bought $50,000 of WTC back in August 2018. I still love you Gringo, but that was BRUTAL.

Bitcoiners are delusional. Iยดm arguing with one on reddit that says that 1 satoshi will eventually be worth 1 million dollars, as an answer to my argument that all bitcoin will eventually be lost. He says we only need one bitcoin in circulation for it to work and that one satoshi will make you rich hahaha. That just proves that it is a ponzi scheme. It has to keep growing in price for it to work as more and more of the supply gets lost forever. People actually think this is a good system, holy fukk

Visiting r/cryptocurrency is bad for my mental well being, I need to stop. A bigger collection of greedy idiots you canยดt find anywhere else.

And even if that did happen, satoshis would get lost everyday as well, until there is no satoshis left. And then he says we can just devide satoshis into micro satoshis it would work. Basically just kicking the problem down the road. lol. Just let the future generations deal with it. Ponzi scheme 101

Why not more people are calling this out is ubelievable to me. Embarrassing that even seasoned investors are getting fooled by this. Of course bitcoin can possibly go to $1 million if the dollar becomes worthless, as will probably happen at one point, but thats another debate.

Speculative mania leads to bubbles which leads to crashes. Whats funny is that war has been used as a means to reset a system.

As long as we're measuring against fiat currency, deflation is a good thing.

Time in the market is everything. As long as one accumulates at the lows you're good to go. Take ETH and XRP for example. For anyone who fomo'd in yesterday or monday, they're probably pretty shook right now since they're pulling back. it happens over and over and over and over again. BTC/ETH were on yellow dot BOGO clearance sale this summer. BTC was 9k all of May, June, and July. ETH was freaking 200 that same time. where was all this traffic then? Now everyone is jumping in after 100 and 200% pumps lmfao makes sense.

Set an entry, an exit, throw fear/greed out the window and execute. If you get out at your predetermined price point it's a W. None of that "holy chit, it's still going up, let me buy back in!" that's how you get dumped on. After the Flare/Spark drop December 12, I'm pulling my initial cash investment out of xrp wherever it is as long as it's above .90 then i'm just letting the whole stack ride until all time highs. If they crash they crash. Won't matter because i'll have claimed all my money back but just have a fat stack of XRP to accumulate more of.

Do you honestly think it could reach $1 or end up being a strong coin where in 5+ years it can end up like BTC or even way less like $15-$100 a coin?

I honestly hate crypto and I have a good close friend whose the same. One day we both decided to drop random amounts of $$$ into coins. Just buying large bulks. I ended up just piling on XLM and did several others.. Nothing has taken off like this for me yet.. BAT did a little but I own nowhere near the amount of XLM.

Would be a nice gain to pull it out right now but I don't need it at all. Crypto has just become that thing where my buddy and I just threw money it and hoped to be stinkin rich in like 15 years or more. Set it and forget it type of deal.

I just don't get crypto.. What's causing the moonage? Like whats it honestly based off?

Crypto dumping probably because of this:

Thanks a lot, Mnuchin.

Governments NEED to get their grubby hands on crypto. It's inevitable. This is why it's a freaking gamble and I feel like privacy coins are totally screwed.

We're now back in the land of market getting spooked.

Personally I just think it's a self fulfilling prophesy. You sold some because you felt "others" would get spooked, and "others" did the same thing.

Then the price falls, and more people sell.
