Cherry pickers - old timers used to do this exercise - how do you do them?
I spoke to an old timer and he said they were big on cherry pickers. I youtube’d the exercise but about 10 different ones came up.
Whats the actual cherry picker exercise?
Whats the actual cherry picker exercise?

i googled it and am getting an entire range of "exercises"
And then there is this retard
But assuming any of these are correct, (i think the first one is), this is a stretch/warm up drill and not an exercise. But its also flawed if you do any bouncing and not static holds

You have to invent new ways to shock the system. I do uppercuts, kickers, razzle dazzles. You have to be creative and confuse the muscles.

Did quite a few as “motivational training” (aka, punishment)
Four count exercise. One person calls the cadence, the rest of the participants call out the repetition they are on. Of course the number of reps really didn’t matter so it almost always sounded like
ONE. TWO. THREE.
ZERO!
ONE. TWO. THREE.
ZERO!
ONE. TWO. THREE.
ZERO!
Chit was easy for skinny dudes, but man, having muscle on your arms makes it hurt after a while.

My version of cherry pickers is done with bent-arm shoulder flexion and scapular protraction to develop anterior delt and serratus anterior.

Lmao the responses are great
Ayy cherry pickers are for lower back (I presumed) didn’t realise It’s for delta
Makes sense we did them in school too but without the finger picking exercise
