Body Solid Leg Press?

Anyone have a Body Solid GLPH1100 Leg Press?

I'm relatively new to training and am looking into getting this leg press, but I'm not sure if the diamondplate/foot plate is wide enough for people who want to use a wide stance. From the body solid website, it looks like the plate might not be wide enough. Any leg press pieces you guys recommend/use?

Also I have a squat rack and am not looking for "just do squats" responses, thanks brahs

Will rep for responses!

IDK but mirin the fact you have the space and income for a leg press.

However from someone who used to do wide stance leg presses, I got more quad development from keeping the feet behind the knees.

Glad you're feeling better and ready to get back at it. I personally wouldn't get that model of leg press. Foot plate too small for you and anything that has a multifunctional angle like this is probably not going to be very good for either application (leg press or hack squat)

I would def want to try before buying if I were you. Can only speak for myself but some leg presses feel great and others are uncomfortable and never let me get into a good position. That would suck ass if you bought it, got it assembled, and then found out it's not going to work for you.

Update: FYI I am now leaning more towards the Power Tec Leg Press, looks to have wider foot placement capabilities.

Ive got the 2012ish model. Is leg press/hack squat. Some of the rubber parts on the rollers disintegrated and fell off so it grinds a bit now but still works fine.

I really want a leg press hack squat combo machine , and was looking at the Body Solid, but imo the leg press foot plate is far too small.
I’m starting to believe the only way to do it properly is to have individual machines , one dedicated to leg press and one for hack squats .(I don’t have the room)

The Force USA is as close as I can find to meet the criteria. Not perfect ,but a good attempt . Unfortunately the foot plates width for the leg press is kind of dictated by the width of the machine on any model , and where they can mount the safety handles .
Unfortunately they won’t ship to Canada , and we have no dealers , but I’d buy it if I could

I like their commercial
