What's the deal with this 'Monolith' making headlines?

Okay so people are able to determine it was actually put there between 2015 and 2016

Then it's 'discovered' a few weeks ago, making headlines, before it disappears again

Then another one shows up in Romania, granted, this one looks like it was made in some eastern European shed

One of these articles mentioned that it was embedded in the rock in Utah. I'd be curious to get other details on it though: hollow or solid? welding and/or material? Total weight/height?

I mean on one hand: it's a hoax no better than crop circles. On the other, it's all pretty bizarre and I'd like more details.

Heard it was hollow and pretty thin. They shoot Westworld in that area so I'm like 100 percent positive that its just a leftover prop from the movie, or someone in production left it there as a joke. Wouldn't be suprised if this comes out into some sort of marketing ploy.

Then there's always the possibility it is aliens, and if they are reading this, make sure you wear a mask.
