Capitalism offers a lot of welfare because...
a lot of jobs in a lot of corporations are useless but needed to fill out administrative and bureaucratic tasks in big hog companies.
Think even about the diversity and inclusion market - diversity coaches, trainers etc if it wasn't for this they would probably be living in a tent in California and tweeting about socialism with their pay-later IPhone mobile plan.
These people are inherently useless and would struggle to have a normal job or a job with real value. They get me off work for an hour and I always mute them.

I believe that welfare and useless jobs are, first and foremost, a self-preservation tactic by the rich. Can you imagine hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of poor people with no income, no help and nothing to lose?

Capitalism also creates many "douchebags" who do not know how to cooperate and can't work as a team. So, they are always competing at work when they shouldn't be.
Douches tend to like to form cliques and that's another issues. If you have a childlike maturity level, cliques and selfish behavior start undermining things from the inside.
A friend of mine works for a famous company and they will be working on major 400 million dollar deals, THE NIGHT BEFORE, like kids in high school. If it was me, that would be planned out like a military attack, not a high school project.
So, companies need a "psychology team" that does a lot more than is currently being done to people people together.

It goes to show that you lack insight and that means you're a dangerous person.
If you don't think that human psychology determines literally everything that everyone does around the world, you are a type of high functioning retard.
IQ tests were originally designed to detect "Morons" in the workplace because they are super dangerous. A moron is a person who looks good, sounds good, but lacks insight and intelligence, so they will destroy plans and processes in a company that are very important.
So, your creation of this thread was like you creating your own work psych profile.

Especially the bold part, I think I have low empathy compared to the average person, but I am still, for some reason, compelled to help people "level" up whenever I can. Now that I think about it, it isn't because I feel bad and want them to feel good, but it's because I want them to BE good at something.
Will read up more on that from a biological POV.

Genetic expressions, epigenetics and general biology can much closely describe that. HR services for coaching based on papers from journals of social sciences, on the other hand, meh.
IQ testing actually showcases one of the flaws of psychology as a "science". It was originally touted a s tool to separate low-performing kids in schools so they get extra attention. However, since you can't define intelligence explicitly everyone who administered it did through their own pre-conceived assumptions about IQ (rings a bell? sounds like you).
On of the ways this failed miserably is that it segregated Asian and Black immigrants in Western societies which had these ethnic populations as a significant minority. They performed low because they were poorer and were fresh off the boat so English wasnt first language and they often worked and didn't have time for schooling.
These same flawed IQ tests were used by Nazi propagandists to justify that whites are the smartest hence why should get rid of anyone else.

Science is about observing and repeatedly observing the same thing over and over, to see if observations are correct. Science is not a valid way to learn about hidden or dynamic events.
A dynamic thing is something like a stream. There's a saying that you can't dip your toe into the same stream twice. That's because it's flowing water with all kinds of particples, animals, etc. A simpleton will look at a stream and say that's the same stream, but second by second, it is not the same stream.
So also you can't study something that is hidden. We can't see what is happening in some other galaxy or what is happening on an atom or even a closed box, because we can't observer it.
So, the human mind is a stream and it is hidden inside a brain. So, science does not apply to complex human motivations that are secret, etc to the person. However, by understanding patterns or behavior and actions, one can estimate.
It's like what I've said about workplace negativity. It is bound to happen but we can't exactly say who will do it or when, because we can't observe thoughts. However, just like with a stream, we can guess what will happen if it rains really hard or a tree falls in the stream. The "rain" and "tree" are life events with people that change behavior.
Also, psych testing was used by Nazis. They were trying to eliminate sociopaths from their society. They picked correct targets and were right, but it's how they decided to address these types of people that was heinous. I know the whole history of that and it is very interesting.
Only a very smart person is able to understand psychology as it is a "Meta Physical" science combined with other arts. You have to be able to be not human and above that state to be good at the whole thing.

Companies will spend money on management and employees taking courses on leadership, communication, etc which all seem like common sense type chit everybody should already be doing or know but more often than not it isn't the case. Team meetings which are 90% of the time a waste of time are done for the appearance/optics but in order to build/maintain some sort of cohesion and morale also cost the company.
Cooperation between departments is also an issue sometimes because each department is kind of in their own little bubble in terms their goals/objectives, but may also need to rely on other departments. For example, a department focused on client relationships are going to want to allocate most of their time to just that because that's where the sales/money is and what will make them look good, get praised, get a raise, promoted, etc. They're probably not going to want to answer an email from accounting about whether to code this restaurant receipt here or there because accounting doesn't provide value to them directly, although indirectly it is an essential function. Each department kind of forms their own clique in isolation that doesn't necessarily work for the company as a whole but simply for their department. Kinda what you don't want.
So companies "waste" time and resources managing these relationships. Also building a decent employee compensation system that works to encourage certain behaviours and discourage others, I've seen many companies hire an external company come to develop or evaluate. Also to evaluate/develop certain KSFs, KPIs etc which help the company "tick".
I've been through some pretty cringe "team-building" exercises.

Pareto principal.
In a corporation probably only 20% of the people are actually creating anything of value. The other 80% are shuffling papers or actively making it harder for the 20% to get anything done.

Capitalism is simply a fancy word for the freedom of private business ownership that happens in large, modern, technologically advanced, diverse societies. Capitalism is the one and only economic system that can and does exist in free or mostly free(as in freedom and rights) large, modern, diverse societies.
All anti-capitalist systems are anti-freedom systems that necessarily require large, overbearing, powerful government to enforce the mass reduction of freedom, and most if not all anti-capitalist propaganda simply originates in scams like Marxist communism which have a true goal of creating totalitarian government that owns and controls everything, ruling over an effectively-enslaved population that owns and controls nothing.
