I want to quit my 6 figure job too. Do you have something lined up or you just quit? I was hoping my company fires me so I can get unemployment benefits since might be risky if I can’t find a new job for a while

*****s do you even know whats coming down the pipe software and hardware wise? You think automation isn't going to rek the fuk out of tens of millions of regular and professional careers who wont know how to code let alone build something or maintain it?

Anyone who can get a handle on complex software is going to be good to go regardless of what they do in their current job. 6 figures would be base salary for someone like that outside of the tech bubbles even.

**** that. I'd kill for a 100k dollar job that was very easy. Would give me time to put effort into things I actually enjoy.
Luckily I am close to making that happen. Idk if its a blessing or a curse to always want to be challenged. Seems tedious and crazy in my eyes lol. More power to you.

I've been wanting to dive into the machine learning paradigm for awhile now. I bought some classes on mathematics and assembly so I can learn more about how things work at the lower level. I was inspired by George Hotz. When he said AI is just lossless compression it blew my mind.

What kind of skills do you have that allow you to land those kind of jobs? I have been trying to work remotely for awhile now but it seems that the only jobs you could do from home are computer programing related or customer service.

I find all work boring and unchallenging. I changed jobs, companies, careers, etc, I get bored so quickly. The characters at work are also among the dullest I ever met.

My gf did this for almost a year. One job is 95k a year, and the other was a contract for $70 an hour. She still had down time doing both, scheduling and making meetings was pretty annoying and hectic for her though. Once the contract ended she hasn't had any luck finding something new, presumably because of covid.
