Concrete is nice, but exposed brick and hardwood floors trumps it. Even simple set ups bring out tons of character and warmth. I imagine it's also way cheaper and more doable that concrete walls. Definitely installing brick on whatever house I buy

Lived in a house with bricks it sucks imo.

Why a low frame? A higher frame gives you more space to put stuff under your bed.

Also using a HEPA filter in your dehumidifier cleans the air pretty well.
