Baseball

Hard cheese chaps. Another thing you’ll have to cope about

https://mlb.nbcsports.com/2020/04/02...ented-is-born/

Cliffs,

founder of Spalding gerrymandered a commission to investigate the origin of baseball in 1905
Up until then, everyone regarded it as the British game of Rounders
Only witness Spalding could find was 5 years old, and was later declared criminally insane..

Actually, Americans kept tons of British traditions and culture after the revolution. Hell, we speak the language. But they won independence against arguably the greatest empire of all time, and that’s pretty badass.

Cheers mate

Yeah unfortunately we were fighting two other wars at the same time, it wasn’t a priority:

Anglo-Mysore Wars 1766–1799
First Anglo-Maratha War 1775–1782
