Finally Tested Positive for Covid (srs) (pic)

Im a paramedic . I have not been sick at all in 2020 until Sunday. Sore joints, headache, cough , and runny nose. No fever, loss of taste or smell, or SOB. Went for a 1 mile run today (srs)

I’ve been taking DayQuil and Advil. Today I feel maybe 60 % of myself. Hopefully by Saturday I’m
Gucci. Work is paying me 10 days

As a paramedic, how shocked are you that you are basically just experiencing a cold?

Shouldn't go on runs when you are sick regardless though, will just make you worse.

You should take another test if you can be sure that a different place processes it.

New statistics in my country says from age 39 and below, it's a 0,00223% change to die. If you are 80 + it's 4%

They did an overall chance being 0,12% here too. JFL, man. JFL.

OP, I swear I remember seeing a thread from late Spring/early Summer saying you tested positive and were feeling pretty sick? Or was it someone you knew irl?

Anyway, I trust you’re gonna make it brah. Probably shouldn’t have gone running today lol but your chances are pretty fantastic. I know someone who caught the rona recently and they said they just felt tired. Then again I know someone who caught a common cold (tested negative for covid) and was fuked up for a week with fever, bad cough, etc. As a paramedic I assume your immune system is damn near impeccable.

First 1-5 days were easy. Chit hit the fan for me on days 6-12 and then started to ease up. I'd rather of had the flu.
