I've done med-evacs for people like that. Fire fighters had to cut down walls to get them out of the bedroom. We have a special palate with a heavily reinforced bed just for stuff like this (was stationed in Hawaii for all the times I did this), I actually forklift them onto our plane. I remember one of them, they guy's uncle stabbed him. Not sure how they moved him from the bed on the palate to the ambulance, was doing my post flight while that happened. But pretty sure it took many guys to do it. He passed away on the ambulance ride.
