Diversify it into a few different things unless you have a spesific plan. Gold, silver and platinum is a good start. You should have both defensive and offensive positions. Precious metals are mainly a defensive position, but I think we will see some decent gains over the next year.

Well that's what I want to do. But right now everything seems so expensive, gold and stocks. Seems like my only option is to accumulate and wait for my next chance?

Real estate is not an option for me for another year.

I don´t think silver, gold and platinum are that expenive. Will likely increase in the long run, but you could put a little in PM´s a liitle in mining stocks and hold some cash, for example. Hold on to some cash for better opportnunities, but spend a little bit now instead of spending everything at the same time. Most stuff is overvalued know. But precious metals are one of the things that are not overvalued imo.

If you're going to accumulate and not do anything with it at least put it in a 'high' yield savings account. Interest might only be miniscule but the picture in the OP makes me cringe thinking of the loss of value. Unless of course you're worth enough that this is a month or two of spending money, at which point who cares.

I don't look into gold / platinum but for some reason silver I do know about. It is up like 50% from May 2020. I don't think it is cheap by any means. Wait for it to dip unless you plan on buying it monthly so you don't really care for the spot price at any given time.
