Could Nazi Germany survive if they won the war? Srs

Were they planning on occupying England, America and Russia afterwards or they'd simply create the Lebensraum and leave the rest of the lands alone?

Lebensraum:

I think if they'd leave allies alone after victory and tried occupying USSR as a whole they couldn't do it. Country is one huge wilderness with hundreds of millions living in it. The occupying forces would only be a fraction of it. Also the infighting between German ministers and SS vs Wehrmacht would contribute to the downfall.

Could it survive a thousand years or last even shorter than USSR did

That's an interesting theoretical question, and the answer is probably yes. After Hitler died, either Head of the SS Heinrich Himmler or Reichsmarshal Herman Goring would have taken power. Herman Goring was a drug addict, but had good practical sense. Himmler would have continued the holocaust against the jews and made it hard for other nations to be able to countenance that behavior.

However, Nazi Germany would have become what the Soviet Union become: Our Enemy as they held power over former democratic nations and allies, and extended their plans to take the majority of Africa and then head into the Middle East to take over their oil reserves (if Hitler's plan was continued), that would have put the US and and Nazi Germany on a war footing and probably resulted in war, regardless.

However, we also had the A-Bomb, and the Nazis weren't even close to one, so the balance of power could have also been skewed towards us.

They were close. There is a possibility they actually tested some. One underground and another tested detonation in the sky in 1944 near Ludwigslust. There are declassified documents from the US talking about witnesses seeing the one in 1944.

Tell that to Saudi Arabia, North Korea, Iran, the majority of Africa, and many other regimes across the world. Malevolent causes are the easiest to implement and that's why they're so widely used across the globe.

Wasnt Dönitz next in line? Or he only took power so he could surrender to the 'overlords'

That's actually a big myth created by the History Channnel/Discovery/Natioanal Geographic and to sell books. The truth is Germany had no functioning atomic problem, as detailed in the bookAlsos by Samuel A. Goudsmit. He was on the ground in Germany looking for the atomic program.
During the final weeks of World War II in Europe, as Allied armies swept across a chaotic, battle-torn Germany, two teams of the world's leading nuclear scientists were desperately at work. One team, sequestered in the New Mexican desert, hastened to assemble the atomic bombs that would shake the world later that summer. The other team, a group of Nazi-sponsored physicists and technicians in southern Germany, struggled to do something that, unbeknownst to them, the Allies had done two years earlier: build a critical, self-sustaining nuclear reactor. Meanwhile, a different kind of team was running its own race against time. Convinced (erroneously) that the Germans were close to creating their own superweapon, the Allies sent an American unit of scientists, soldiers, and secret agents established by Lieutenant General Leslie R. Groves into Nazi Germany. Their orders: find the German scientific team before they could provide Hitler with atomic power. The scientific head of the mission: a Dutch-American physicist named Samuel A. Goudsmit. The mission code name: Alsos. As his small entourage moved closer to the German research camp, Goudsmit revisited familiar people and places now changed forever by the war. The first Allied scientist to interrogate the captured physicists, Goudsmit heard first hand about life in a Nazi Germany in which they had lived and worked for over a decade. Most importantly, as the last person to review German nuclear research papers before military classification barred them from the public eye, Goudsmit was uniquely qualified to answer the most puzzling question: why, after their spectacular early successes, did German nuclear research efforts fall so miserably? Goudsmit's insights into the errors and hindrances that frustrated the German scientists, as well as his penetrating character analyses, remain uncannily accurate, as proven a half-century later by the now de-classified documents.

I mean, North Korea has gulags which are prison camps, just like under Stalin as North Korea is a Stalininst Communist Nation. In Saudi Arab, women can't drive and are put to death to try and defy that law. There are public beheadings, etc, etc.

I mean, just read some world history and you'll find out about these things.

Nazi Germany was going to have a truly devastating war sooner or later with the USSR. Hitler understood this and even with the enormous early successes of Operation Barbarossa, 4/5 Nazis that were killed in WW2 died on the Eastern Front. Also, the Nazi's weren't anywhere close to developing a nuclear bomb. The brain drain from all the high IQ jews really phucked them there.

All that's correct. However, while Hitler was in the Fuhrerbunker, Goring sent him telex asking him if he could take over in case of loss of communication to the Berlin redoubt. Bormann convinced Hitler was a coup, and he stripped Goring of all titles and ordered his arrest.

Himmler definitely would have taken over, by the fact he controlled the entire Waffen-SS, the SS, the Gestapo and all the police force in the Reich.

Once the US got involved, they were never gonna win. And the US was always gonna get involved to keep or strengthen their hegemony, ergo, Nazi Germany was doomed to fail.

Yes. They probably could have lasted a while like the Soviet Union.

However, it seems like one party states typically do not last as long as countries with multiple political groups/parties.

Probably would have lasted until the 90s when some other politcal fraction was to take over...

The Ukraine alone was known as the bread basket of Europe and would have been more than enough to support and house Hitlers expanding 'volk' with endless fertile farmland. They had already started stealing the local peoples houses from them. They would have simply deported the ethnic Ukrainians or let them starve to death in a concentration camp.

If Hitler wasn't so stupid he could have laid seige to the UK until they eventually had to capitulate and sign a peace agreement. Hitlers troops would occupy the whole of Europe, East and West.

Although the US, UK, Canada and NZ got involved, it was the Soviet's who did most of the fighting and took most of the casualties during WW2.

I agree with this. Nazism wasn't just an ideology, it was a personality cult. And without Hitler as the head of this cult, it might have crumbled quickly.

I think the major problem was Hitler's invasion of the Soviet Union in the first place. Once Soviet industrial capacity was started, there was no stopping it. Hitler was very naive about the Soviet Union and didn't win any converts by killing the people who thought they were liberating them.

Girls weren't really dripping for Goebbels. He was a cripple with a deformed right foot that turned inwards for which he had to wear a brace for. He was also very thin and had a big nose. Once he took over the German movie industry, he basically pressured actresses into sleeping him by offering them roles, refusing them roles if they declined him and other shenanigans.

The Nazis were close to the atom bomb though... and they basically had the designs for a working icbm (von brauns v-2).

If hitler wasn’t such a retard and focused funding into those two things instead of building huge tanks and other random bull****, the Nazis would have dominated. Thankfully he was indeed a retard, and thankfully the real smart people in the nazi party were too afraid of him to speak up.

He wanted to exterminate the Slavic people and take their lands, while stealing their children for Germanization. Had he not done this, most of the Slavic and eastern peoples would have sided with him against their own incompetent leadership, and Germany would have won the war, but German arrogance and literal racial broscience got in its way.

I'd just like to point out that, since we're talking about alternative history here anyway, had the Soviet Union not allied itself in the beginning of the war with Nazi Germany in the coordinated invasion of Poland via the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact, the war wouldn't have played out the way that it had, in that, it would have ended much sooner.

Had he not, he probably would have won the war. He could have turned on the Soviet Union, and most probably would have defected to his side, but that German arrogance I mentioned earlier prevented this from happening.

Nuclear fission was discovered by a German in 1938 btw
That's not true, see my post here:https://forum.obnoxiousbrutes.com/showt...post1624347331

That's just a myth to sell TV shows and books.

Hitler was a complete drug addict by the end of the war. He was on an opioid, meth, and a very basic form of testosterone. You can read all about what Hitler took inThe Medical Case Book of Adolf Hitler: Final Diagnoses and World War II

So needless to say, he wasn't fit to lead at that point. After Stalingrad, that was the end him and his fascist regime.

Stalin was both paranoid of Hitler and respecting of him. Stalin and Hitler have a lot of similarities. Both were in the seminary and wanted to be monks, both had unstable relationships, and other things

I just watched this interesting documentary on it called "How Hitler's Paranoia Cost Him The War | Warlords: Hitler vs Stalin | Timeline"

If they changed few rules I think that they would rule the world. They had best technology of that era, best scientists (operation paperclip), strong political party but as I said few rules messed up everything.

One other book I forgot to mention to read if you're interested in this subject isInside the Third Reich by Albert Speer

Albert Speer was at first, Hitler's personal architect and one of the only people he actually considered a friend. Later, he was promoted to Armaments Minster under Hitler and was responsible for the war lasting as long as it did by being able to produce weapons continuously despite heavy allied bombing.
