Doubt it. I grew up listening to Nas, Jay-Z, Wu-Tang Clan, DMX, 50 Cent.

You're just listening to noise, with horrible melodies. I have advice for you. Listen to your trash music, and then listen to some 90s, or early 2000s music and compare the difference. You'll notice the older music sounds WAY better. You're just conditioned to like the crap, because you got used to it and it's all you know.

rap is the only thing i listen to that is still current. lil baby and all of them. A lot are making emo like rap music, idk their names but they all play on my ski mask slump god pandora channel, sometimes i want a good beat while im working on something and it starts getting depressing.

I have no idea what rock or alt punk music is like anymore. I used to go to so many rock and alt concerts from like 2000-2008
