How has black lives matter made you more aware?

As for me they’ve brought police brutality to light more, and encouraged me to question authority

They’ve also mostly shown how to peacefully protest

I’ve never been racist so I haven’t really spent too much time delving into the movement.

I don’t have any contact with police either so police brutality and things like that I find pointless to think about.

I have my own issues to worry about. Simply don’t have the time to worry about all that chit.

I thought when BLM came out like 5 years ago that it was just black supremacy and they only care about their own problems. It turns out they just want democratic votes and don't give a phuck about black people, they just make it about them.

Considering how a majority of their protesters are white, which put the light to how many young suburban whites really care about blacks, although they do nothing for blacks personally, just want to advocate for others to help, but somehow they push their own political agenda about it. Proved to me how white leftist will use black people for their own bidding yet call others racist.

I honestly didn't know that most black people still feel oppressed.

The lower class, sure, all lower class people find a reason to fee oppressed whether white black brown or yellow.

But I thought in reality society was past this, now I know.

It made me aware that peaceful protests are the cure for covid. Not sure why everyone is making such a big deal with the vaccines at this point because BLM solved covid months ago.

More or less this. Most African Americans that I met living in NYC are living great lives and are very cool people, getting as much schtick from people as any other person regardless of color. I know African Americans in pretty much all professions with every degree imaginable, so I don't see the discrimination there. Our culture has also been idolizing them in sports, hollywood, and music since as long as I can remember.

Idk what else they want.

Fuk race. Honestly. Its just a tool to divide, no matter how even or uneven it may seem to be. Its the lowest of low hanging fruit. Anyone whose brain that doesn't function as an oxygen tank looks right past this.

Go into the black neighborhoods and burn what little they have.

Imagine if instead of just screaming, they went in and actually did positive things. They would accomplish more. You can't get positive results from negative actions.
