Not denatured, 95% is ok too.
Everclear 190 is $35 for 1.75L at Binny's
so that's my backup plan, but I think I should be able to get a gallon around that price, cheapest food grade I've found is $60 free shipping

also why?
I need it to use as a solvent to make something for human consumption, so denatured is no good.
But if they can sell a gallon of denatured for $30 a gallon there is no reason not denatured shouldn't be the same price - they add chemicals to denatured alcohol so people won't drink it.

There is a limit to how pure alcohol can be because you evaporate alcohol when distilling. The steam will never be 100% alcohol.
95% everclear is as strong as any alcohol can be.
