US financial situation not looking good
https://www.usdebtclock.org/world-debt-clock.html
Over 27 Trillion dollars of national debt. Interest rates at 0. Fed is printing money like crazy and value of US dollar is dropping.
China GDP expected to overtake the US.

History repeats itself. Kingdoms will rise and kingdoms will fall.

Reserve currency status doesn't last forever. Seems like the US dollar is on the latter end of the cycle.

10 years ago a 3 trillion dollar stimulus would have been unheard of.

1) The empire grows
2) Standard of living rises
3) People get soft and complacent
4) Country is eclipsed by a new rising power.
Pretty standard stuff OP.

The long term trends are unmistakable. We're about where the British Empire was in the late 1800s/early 1900s, and China is about where we were in the same time.

In other words, just because labor is occurring, doesn't mean it's in any way productive. Malinvestment was a huge reason why communism failed and it's starting to become a problem in the USA.

Agree OP.
Would much prefer an infrastructure spending package and I'm not sure why we can't seem to get that done.
- fix/replace crumbling roads and bridges
- extend high speed internet through more of the country
- replace old water systems that are way past needing it
- build some more housing, since we seem to be behind
- make urban areas more "walkable" and "bikeable"
- update/upgrade the railway system as rail can be more efficient for freight vs. all trucking
IOW invest in the country instead of just burning money on paper pushers and excessive military spending.

Its inevitable and the US is on the decline. I just hope we can last another 50 years before it really hits the fan. If you got babies right now, probably certain they are going to see a real fall of rome before they die at this point.

You're looking at this far too simplistically. I absolutely agree corrupt boomers and their wake seem to bend over to any competitive, uncorrupt nation. Old people here turning into the dude who dresses like 200 years ago in Britian because his arrogance about his former glory sustains him instead of actual uncorrupt accomplishment.
Look at ol' Joe, talking about how he used to live in the corporate capital of the world and was competent 60 years ago, still thinking the limp-wristed appeals to other countries look harmless, as opposed to arguing how we can win and succeed today.
China uses a very corrupt system squandering most improvement.
Normal families and standing up to corruption seem like constant requirements people lose sight of too often.

F-35 production is spread over all 50 states, just to make it an unkillable project (since no congressman wants to kill jobs in their district)
We have over 100 Abrams tanks rotting in the desert because they don't want to turn production off (again, to save jobs)
Every year we buy brand new TVs and chairs to use up our budget. The gym gets new exercise equipment every year for the same reason. We throw out year-old treadmills.
Meanwhile we fly planes that saw service in Vietnam. The B52 still hasn't gotten an engine upgrade, even though it would pay for itself in fuel savings in under a decade. (The b52 fleet is projected to last to 2050 or beyond)
I spent 4 months in training where I spent 8 hours a week (not a typo) at work because I was getting trained by a contractor, and that was the way the contract was written.

America still has a stronghold on technological innovation
Most of the largest tech and pharma companies in the world are US
Won’t last forever though so don’t get complacent. The communist ideology going around in your country right now can and will fuk that right up real quick.
Same goes with the US military. It’s the best thing you guys have going, don’t fuk it up and defund it because some blue haired queertards say so.
