Anyone ever got veneers?

Thinking about doing veneers to cover some teeth stuff on my social six (top 6 showing teeth during smile), as well as some invisalign to straighten out my bottom row a little bit.

Has anyone ever done veneers? Worth it? Haven't had any major work done to my teeth since I was a kid.

I don't have them but my friend has a couple of practices

He suggests doing the non invasive veneers where they don't have to shave your teeth down much..

Also you should know that you will probably have to pay for it again in 10 years or so

Cheaper option (and less invasive) is to get it done with the temporary stuff

My dentist stuck some white filling stuff on the front of one of my teeth for me, as it was a bit chipped. Think it only cost a couple of hundred dollars.

He told me I'd probably have to replace it in a couple of years as its probably fall off due to biting down on it all the time, but that was six years ago and I haven't had to replace it yet.

My boyfriend has proper veneers and apparently it cost about 10k.

My sis got it done twice. The first time around, the dentist wanted to save as much of her teeth as possible and didn't shave it down enough, resulting in somewhat bulky veneers. The shade was also completely off, it wasn't natural (somewhat translucent at the bottom) and reminded me of cement lol. She got it done a second time (and yep, it was shaved down to like a rat's teeth) and it looks really good now. Really focus on the shade because that will make a world of difference. Look at diff dentists and their work as well, she consulted a bunch after her first try (it was with her employer, she's a dental hygienist).

That said, ure perfect the way u are baby boy

lol did you even read the second one? those are not veneers. that was prep for crowns which is completely different. they take off minimal enamel for veneers...

The stains don't come off with cleaning/bleach trays? I had a super small gap and wanted braces (I'm big on having nice teeth), but my dentist thought I was crazy. She took some filling, filled in the small gap, and now I can't even tell that it's not part of my tooth lol. Idk about stains though, sounds weird... could be worth a shot before looking at veneers?

Braces and some crest white strips look a whole lot better than veneers. Every person i've seen with them looks herp derp

Tried over-the-counter bleach trays. Didn't do chit. Asked dentists and they said it could work, but it could also increase the contrast, making the stains more noticeable.


Pretty sure I don't need the typical veneers since my teeth are nearly perfectly straight and shaped. Just need the color really. Fukin read before recommending braces, retards.

Unless you have an extremely small palate you'll need at least 8 veneers or most likely 10. My mom got veneers about 15 years ago, they cost about 5k and she'll need them replaced in the next couple of years.
