Not aware of her work, but video is worth the watch srs.

Argues that 18 year olds getting into adult film are too young to understand the repercussions of the decision

i dont think 18 year olds in porn is the reason for this, or at least not the biggest reason. young girls will be sexualizing themselves as long as feminists/mainstream promote hyper-sexuality as feminism/women's empowerment and discourage "slut shaming".

i bet if a 16 year old posted a TikTok of her dad yelling at her for dressing like a sloot in booty shorts with her cheeks hanging out and a top showing her t*ts off the dad would probably go viral as a villian full of toxic masculinity. the lack of sloot shaming/glorification of being a hoe is a problem much deeper than 18 year olds being in porn

It should definitely be raised to 21 at a minimum. The human brain isn't fully-developed until 25. Decision-making skills are limited and 18 year olds are too naive to deal with the thought of repercussions.

This should also extend to onlyfans or anything that exploits an 18 year old sexually.

but im saying the reason why kids, young girls in particular, are sexualizing themselves on the internet is not because they saw an 18 year old girl in porn.

it's because society doesn't have enough sloot shaming and modern feminists have gone too far in encouraging young women to show off their bodies as a sign of empowerment, while labeling anyone (especially male) who pushes back on that "toxic" even if the girl is underage and needs to be sloot shamed to protect her.

let's say 18-21 year olds were banned from porn, but everything else remains the same. you would still have the same hypersexualization of young girls because slooting is still not shamed in society and being a hoe is normal.
