- OP is trying to find a GF on tinder.

- OP tells the girl he doesn't get a lot of matches. I.e. he tells her he is desperate and other women don't desire him

- OP tells the girl he wants/needs a gothGF. You're still message on tinder and you're telling her you want her as a GF.

- OP is taking tinder way to serious. Zero flirting.

It might still work if she really likes you, but why would she go out with a guy that's not desirable by other women who is desperate to have a GF? (that's what you communicated to her).

Good post. OP, think about it from the other side. If a girl starts telling you all this stuff your first thought is going to be "Man, this girl has nothing going for her. There must be something wrong." I get where you are coming from but you have to remember this person knows nothing about you so her first impression is going to be that you aren't confident or desirable. There is a difference between honesty and volunteering unnecessary info that is going to scare off potential dates.

How long ago did you text her that she hasn't replied? You should invite her over to watch a horror movie, finger blast her and take it from there.
