How to get good pictures taken of yourself

I have no family, no friends to take pictures

I've noticed I have no decent pics from like 4-5 years, setting timer then standing back also seems horrendous. My ascension is over and I'm about to merge back into society, moving to a new city and starting new life, so need photos for setting up instagram, ******** etc

Hire professional photographer for a few hours? seems homo. Anyone done this before? any tips?

What kind of pictures? Of you doing stuff out and about?

Ask random cute chicks to take a picture brah, then you can mention how you're new in the city and looking for friends or someone to show you around. Win-win

Just a normal photo or portrait. Not even doing anything, just a pic that shows your face. Believe it or not I have no photo with my face in like 3 years.

Same. Girls keep telling me why I don't take a good pic since what I had as profile pic apparently does not show how I look IRL. Not even once, 4-5 girls have told me the same thing.

For that type of picture I would go to the park or at a local coffee shop and have someone, preferably a cute girl, take my pic.

Find a photographer in your area via social and shell out the $100 or whatever for some professional shots. Worth it in my opinion.

Or what this whole thread just so you could post that weird picture of an adult ******* in pajamas?

yeah. But I just want it to get over with, to have a couple of pictures to keep as profile pic for social accounts since people think you're socially inept if you don't have at least a few pictures up.

Easiest way to get better pictures without spending money:

1) Stand slightly farther away from the camera and zoom in
2) Have a soft light source. If you have a bright light, hold a piece of white paper over it - that's soft light. Without the paper, it's harsh light.
3) Elevate the camera slightly higher than your face and angle the cameraslightly downward.
4) don't stick your face directly in front of the camera, this causes what's known as the "fish eye effect" where everything gets distorted.

If you're okay spending a little money:

* buy a camera with interchangeable lenses and buy a lens that's in the range of 50mm ~ 80mm. Lenses that are 50mm ~ 80mm closely approximates what the human eye sees.

This is what the fish eye effect looks like. If you're a guy with a domed forehead, high hairline, weak jaw or receding chin, you have to avoid the fish eye effect at all costs

Everything I post is satire.

If you want really nice pics, then definitely hire someone.

My brother in-law, professional photographer, took the pics at my low key wedding as a gift. Holy smokes, for once I didn’t look like a potato lol. Pics taken with a nice camera and flash makes a huge difference.

if you want good photos, you need a good photographer! you can get friends to snap a few shots on their phones, but if you're really serious, diet down, get shredded and hire a photographer for a day. my mate did this and the photos came out a million bucks

Notice how standing farther away makes this dude look better

Same face, but notice how the 85mm lens captures the most flattering picture. Focal lens length and lighting are the two most important aspects for face pics.

Step 1: Get ring light ($15-30)
Step 2: Get photoshop ($350/yr for all Adobe software)
Step 3: Take pictures of yourself
Step 4: Edit your photos to adjust the coloring, apply blurred backgrounds, touch up appearance, etc)

You really don’t need to be a photoshop pro. It takes a little bit of time so not recommending you do it for every photo you post but if you want a nice profile pic or professional photo for an email sig it’s worth it and pretty easy to do.
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Lay on back naked. Spread legs and spread cheeks. Take a picture of the eye of the storm, aka butthole. Bonus points if you get some hairy nuts in the frame too. Send to girl. Thank me later
