Should I quit fin?

Been on it just over 6 months.
Started at .25mg per day, then up to .5mg, tapered off down to .25 3x per week as I got sides, but then I just said **** it and went 1mg daily and sides are not any worse than before, in fact bonars are slightly stronger.

-Shedding hasn’t stopped, just as bad as pre-fin.
-still thinning, and losing ground
-low libido, and weaker bonars

Id be willing to deal with the lower libido if fin was Atleast maintaining or re growing... but it’s not.

Do I hang on and try and get to a year to see if the shedding and loss slows, or do I just accept that I’m not a responder.

I have not tried minox

My dermatologist said you gotta take it for at least a full year to judge results. I think you may be quitting at a time when the results are about to come. If you're already six months in man, I would just keep going for the full year.

Whoa, don't let the shed scare you, this is known as Finasteride shedding and it's a sign that it's working. The weak hairs are falling out and new hairs will pop up.

You can look on youtube and find videos of guys talking about their shed period.

My shed phase came around the 3 month mark and it was massive shedding. But I held strong and stuck it out. Now my shedding has essentially stopped and I only lose 25 hairs in the shower (yes, I count them). And yes, my hair has grown back stronger at 6 months on Fin.

I've come to realize the universe has a sadistic sense of humor:

1) If you want to keep your hair, you must sacrifice your testosterone and sex drive.
2) If you want to keep your test and sex drive, you must sacrifice your hair.

We're fccked either way, boyo...
Everything I post is satire.

Yeah but I don’t think I had a shed per say, as nothing got worse. It’s just the same pre fin
