Extremely insecure over GF’s social media/texting addiction...(SRS thread)
Would any of you put up with this? I’m not lying when I say her phone is never down for more than a minute and 30 seconds. Probably sends over 500 texts per day to all of her friends (8-9 girls), from what I know there are no guys in the picture but I’m just getting suspicious lately. When her phone is not exploding with texts she is absolutely glue to social media. Will flip between Insta/Vsco/Snapchat/FB to now end watching every story available until there are none left.
Would any of you brahs put up with this? I’m about to bring it up with her but don’t want to come of as insecure. I just have a hunch she is hiding something but can’t make an accusation. How to bring up with her?

I wouldn’t put up with anyone glued to their phone; whether it’s texts or any other **** app.
Don’t bring it up. You don’t have to justify anything you do to anybody. Just dump, wish her all the best and live life.

There may or may not be anything to worry about.
This is something you may need to decide if you’re willing to put up with in the long term. A lot of people have a serious addiction to their cell phone/text messaging/social media.
It sounds like she’s also excited to be home and closer to her friends again so this may settle down a little bit in time.
Your best bet is open communication with her. Good luck.

No one starts texting 500 times a day out of the blue. She’s been doing it for a while but you’ve only just noticed it. You’re not happy, so fix it and stop this bull****.

I personally have dumped all my exes if I found them spending too much time on social. What constitutes too much time? Easy. Having an account and simply reading posts would suffice.

Seriously, there are good girls out there. It probably will help if you also aren’t on the social. Like attracts like.

If you do bring it up, make sure you don't say or accidentally give away the fact that it's making you susicious. Just tell her that you think you both (don't want to sound like you are attacking her) on your phones/social media too much and insist that you both make a point of putting your phones away a lot more often. You will be berated with accusations of being insecure if you let her realize there is anything more to your problem with it than that, and she will hold it against you forever.
It's not weird to be supicious when they obsess THAT much over it, though. It indicates that they are putting more value and effort into other relationships/bs wastes of time than her relationship with you. That is a recipe for actual issues to develope even if there isn't currently one. It could be her starting to talk to other guys in inappropriate ways, or it could be that they start getting too close to some green/blue/purple haired bitch who convinces them to stray. Meanwhile, you can't prevent it from happening, because she is spending more time on those retards than you, making impossible to properly nuture your relationship with her as she builds the others up to the point of being her main priorities.
Almost all women are glued to their fkn phones, and yes it is annoying. Having said that, I've put up with that chit in excess before, and I'll never be with someone like that again. My ex-wife gradually became more and more obsessed with her phone/social media accounts to the point where she'd almost never put the fuker down and focus on us or our family. She always got pissy and defensive when I called her out asking her to quit obsessing over the chit along with making excuses for it and labeling me as "insecure". Fuk that noise, I will never entertain that bs again. Any signs of prioritizing her fkn phone over the people who are supposed to matter most in her life, and she can go have Requis put up with it instead.

I don't think you have to worry about her slooting around per se, but that SM usage in and on itself is worrysome. Either cut your losses or if you think she is worth it talk to her and look for a solution, because she has an addiction.

If you don't call it out. It wont stop. Last girl i dated on and off for like 4 years, at the very start would be on her phone a lot and i called it out on it and she put her phone down. Some people just don't realize it's rude to do and if you say something, if they respect you/like you; they'll stop.
But you already said you guys been together for 5 years.. I would understand this behavior at the very start of a relationship(not saying i would allow it) but you been in it for 5 bloody years.
And if this is doing this while you guys are doing things together like on dates.. that's a huge issue for me.
Have you been to her home town? has she introduced you to her friends in IRL and not social media?
