I dont want a normal life

Many people want to get married settle down and they put that first. There are those who seek higher education and eventually settle down. In my case Im just not interested in ever having a kid tbh and maybe I'll get some girl but IF Im going to ever have a girl we are not going to be married. Like im 23 and right now Im only interested in signing up for college next year but Im also eager to take music classes and another foreign language. In my case education >>>>> family.

Like, I dont want to wake up one day and say "Maybe I should have taken those courses, maybe I should have gone to college etc..."
I dont see myself having a wife, having a kid, feeding him/her, taking her/him to school and having boring married life

Is everything ok with me??

You're 23.

No man who isn't a cuck is thinking about settling down at that age. (maybe a few exceptions)

Either way, you should do what you please and try to think long term if you'll be ok with your choices

Ultimately it's your life and you do what you want opie.
However with that said, you're only 23. You will have a completely different outlook on life 5 years later.

If you can attain a decent salary and savings, life as a single male is so easy. Literally women are good for baggage in your life, and making things more expensive and complicated.

The thing is my parents come from ****ed up families , not poverty level but kinda poor,my dad never had parents because they abandoned him and my mom comes from also kinda poor family and the way they live and how uneducated financially and in how life works are. Like I love them but sometimes I just dont respect them because I have a belief that people should not get married out of love only, because thats a disney thinking thats a primitive thinking. People should get married ONLY if they are financially very stable and if they analize if the marriage will benefit them in the future. Personally Im not a believer that two people should sign a contract to be together but thats another subject.

Thats my thinking.

You are asking random strangers on an internet forum if the path you choose in life is "ok"?

If this forum collectively says "no, you are not ok. This isnt normal. Get married and have kids" you would be inclined to think about it and maybe do it?

So much this.

After age 27, everything I knew started to turn on me. Brb what is life without kids?

OP here's a question for you: what purpose would you be content to give your life to? You can choose anything. But you only have the one life, how should it best be spent?

I believe we are here to be the best we can be. Upgrade yourself, find your meaning on this world and be the best version of you. Give it all you got.

Forgive me, but 'becoming the best you can be' is sort of a non answer, isn't it? What I meant was, can you identify a pursuit that is worth sacrificing your health and wellbeing for? I.e. adding to the edifice of science. Curing a disease.

Your answer sounds like something tangible isn't necessary, like when you finally achieve something, you'll just move on to the next goal, always in pursuit of increasing your self worth. But what I'm saying is that with no discernable.. concept, or idea.. it can be very destructive to wake up one day and realize your goals are fleeting and subjective. Without something noble to build your life around, I believe you would be destined for existential crisis. Why do I exist? Is simply bettering yourself, or having lots of fun, enough?

I understand your point and I do agree with you but heres the thing, none us is ever truly satisfied and "complete". We will always search for something, someone moving on etc. We as humans do not know the feeling of fullfilness.

I would argue that there are sometimes (frequently/infrequently) old people who do feel satisfied. Sometimes they retire and live out their days in some peace as their health declines, sometimes they are workaholics who never give it up, simple because it's what they enjoy doing. I would believe there is path that takes you to old age and allows the contentedness of a 'life well lived.' Now to be fair, this could be a personality type, or something completely different from the choices and sacrifices they chose.

But in my opinion, it is worth taking time to consider, and reconsider throughout your life - how to live your best life. And to make sure you choose the sacrifices you want to make, because one way or another, sacrifices will be made, and it would be a shame to not get to pick them yourself.
