Hello boyos, hope all keeping well and set up a nice home gym system with all going on in the world!

Landed myself a new Sales & Trading front office role. Currently WFH for obvious reasons with London going into the highest lockdown tier in the UK, expected to be like this until atleast new financial year starts (end-Mar 2021).

New boss is a proper geez and wants to bring out the inner Chad in me. As I’m taking all video conferences atm in a spare bedroom, he said that pictures on the wall will be easy talking points with new clients. I asked him what he thought about an Obama picture and he said that I should avoid being political, but I’m on the right lines i.e. someone who inspires me like Muhammad Ali in the ring or Michael Schumacher’s car.

He said that he would leave it up to me for these decisions to be personal and there was no bad answer as long as it wasn’t political or could cause offence. Ideally it would be something relatable or meant something to me e.g. if I was a traveller, a map of the world.

Given that I’ve started lifting and I’ve been inspired previously by Zyzz - what are your thoughts Misc on this as an XL canvas to hang on my walls along with some LED lights in the background for client meetings?

Doesn’t Zyzz canvas satisfy all the criteria?

- Non political

- Positive vibes

- Intrigue for clients (oooh nice pic, tell us more about him and why he inspires you)

- Aesthetic [like the Taj Mahal or Eiffel Tower]


It is the most personal thing I can think of and seems like a safe, neutral choice. If I put a picture of a soccer or basketball team, what if they follow the rival?!

Yeah, the thing with Zyzz is, despite your personal inspiration from him, a lot of people won't know who he is. Arnold is more recognizable even if they don't care about lifting at all.
