-increase ability to fall asleep at night
-increased nutritional intake via being able to intake MORE calories than those who "just eat less"

Stawp right there.

I’m 5’10 and weigh 20 pounds more than you. You are taller and weigh less yet you have major bitch tits. Sure I have the gut but I have cleavage and my tits aren’t saggy. I’ve had/still have one records in USAPL so piss off.

only if you are a pussy who cant get over having an increased appetite. But during a building phase its very beneficial so that you can eat your chicken and rice meals to give your body needed nutrients to add decent mass without feeling like barfing and having digestive issues.

Lifting does all the same things. Plus cardio raises your appetite causing you to be more hungry which makes those extra calories useless as you’ll be more prone to overeating. You still think I’m trolling now?

yeah idk why I respond to this troll but for some reason I do. Its almost like he is trolling but also not trolling in some of the posts.

Some of his psots are just inflammatory and obvious trolls but then some are actual common misconceptions by even a lot of miscers.

That's nutrition advice for plebeians that don't exercise.

If you're actually training then your appetite will reflect your body's expanding volume capacity for light work. You keep up your training as if you're cutting, and you typically have bigger and softer margins for error with your carbs when you technically have a lot more work volume.

Most intelligent & natty people don't train with weights 7x a week.

Cardio on off days..

Okay list out one “troll” argument I’ve made. I listed each point in this thread with accuracy and logical reasoning behind the statement

That absolutely made no sense at all. It seems you just looked up a few random terms in your high school biology book and mashed then into one convoluted post to come off as valid

Back to the topic: Like i said, if cardio increases your appetite you’re only increasing the amount of suffering on a diet. Good luck with your “willpower” I’d rather go the easy route

One thing I learned the hard way is you can argue against doing almost anything in fitness and find a study that backs it up, because theres studies on both sides of every argument in fitness. But the less time you spend trying to argue against doing something most successful top level lifters say you should do, and more time researching why and how they do it, the better.

I see so many people on IG especially arguing why fasted cardio ISNT better than non fasted cardio, why you DONT need to do any cardio in the off season, why you DONT need to go to failure, why you DONT need to eat simple whole foods like chicken and rice and its macros or calories in vs calories out, why you DONT need to take any supplements, why you DONT need to feel bad about eating cheat meals, why you DONT need to push yourself to new adaptations every gym session.

If you burn say as little as 100 calories doing cardio, do it every day and (in theory) that is about a lb lost a month. Do it for 12 months and that is 12 lbs lost, in which, if you have recomp goals can make a pretty big difference in how lean you look.

You can only cut so many calories before that chit starts to affect your sleep, strength, performance in the gym, etc.

Point is sometimes it is the little things that when added together which make a big difference, plus cardio has the added benefit of increased endurance, heart health, etc.

in my experience cardio motivates me to eat less (why put in the work for no reason) and the satisfaction i get from the release of endorphins overcomes my hunger throughout the day
