On one end, this guy has balls and is amazing for that. On the other hand, is that even worth it? I feel like most gyms that are not like Planet fitness don't give a **** about masks but just do it for safety protocols and avoid fines.

My gym only mandates mask when you're checking in, as soon as your past the desk you can take it off. seems like this gym could have done something similar.

They did a contact tracing data report when the gyms in my state got shut down again. It came back as like .006% or something close to that came from the gym. Like 70% came from being inside a house or something

That's how it's been for most of the small town gyms I have been going to.

Like 1 says 15 people max. There are always more than that in there. No one gives a ****.

I even some see brahs wearing masks and no-one gives them chit and they don't give non mask brahs chit, Everyone just happy to workout. In fact the gym has been remarkably pleasant as a result of all this... like everyone is watching each others backs and keeping everything on the D/L so no gyms get shut down. Its pretty cool TBH

This. The stupidity of this Governor as well as Cuomo, Lamont, Newsome so many more is staggering. More and more people will be pushing back, Politicians can only issue suggestions, they aren't governing in an authoritarian people can tell them to go to hell.
