"Let me say this again stfu. I worked as a neonatal Icu nurse for 13 years and lived Paycheck to paycheck. Don't judge us for leaving careers paying 100k and spending 33% in taxes and living off what's left as single women. Yea I left a whole career I loved so I wouldn't work for 33 more years till I retire stressing about money. So why don't you pay nurses and emt's 400k a year because obviously our job as essential workers is what keeps tne country alive. Maybe people will understand nurses save LIVES. Can confirm, gf is a nurse and her and her friends think they are prophets. Went to the gym with her a few days ago and had to listen to her ramble about how it’s bullchit some personal trainers are making about the same money but she’s the one “saving lives”.

Nursing is stressful. Wouldn’t blame her for taking the easier route. Speaking as a former nurse, I don’t think they need to be paid that high though, but there are things that could be done to improve the profession and make it safer for patients. Her problem is, unless she’s good with her funds, that will be a very temporary source of income once she hits the wall.

Another issue is these sloots were never taught personal finance or how to be frugal. There's a lot of underpaid workers out there but as long as you don't go to Starbucks and shop for sloot clothes everyday they can manage. Skip the ladies night out and save your earnings. Notice there are a lot of guy nurses too but they aren't btching on social media?
