~3 years of natty progress

Sometimes progress is so slow that I think I'm not making any. Comparing pics helps me remember that I am actually getting somewhere.

Left pic is jan 2018 (right after losing 21 lb. in 3 weeks as mentioned in my sig), at 181 lb. Right pic is June 2020. Went from 9 years lifting to 12.

Yes, the lighting is different, I'm posing better in the after picture, and I have a tan cause it's summer. But my takeaway is that focusing on my shoulders has actually made a difference as my front delt grew a ton. Also my arm is definitely thicker, and my forearm is significantly bigger. There are some decent chest gains too, imo. That upper chest is fookin popping.

Yep, pretty much. I think I packed on a little more muscle too since then, ballooned up to 195 and my lifts went through the roof to like 495/370/545. Currently cutting, at 189 lb. right now and want to get like low 170's and be shredded kunt in the summer this coming year.

Solid progress. What have your lifts been like over the years and at 12 years in are you still making gains?

Mirin forearm gains. What exercise(s) do you attribute those to?

Don't know if it's the difference in pose between the two pics, but may seem like your thicker forearm to the right makes your bicep appear fuller ("hides" the insertion point a bit).

I'm no viaduct, but I liked the hairstyle in the second picture more. It fits better with the beard, makes you look like a man rather than a boy with a mustache.

Dunno, cause I don't ever focus on them. But I will say, my forearms always end up burning like hell when I do DB exercises so probably just them being used for bicep/tricep exercises.

Also I agree, it is making the bicep look bigger since it looks like it extends closer to the crook of the elbow but I think it's an illusion.

nice work, thick, solid, tight.

“Steroids is now just a word that the lazy and ignorant use to describe any guy that has more muscle and dedication than them”– Mike O'Hearn

"I am like getting the feeling of cumming in the gym; I'm getting the feeling of cumming at home; I'm getting the feeling of cumming backstage; when I pump up, when I pose out in front of 5000 people I get the same feeling, so I am cumming day and night. It's terrific, right? So you know, I am in heaven."

Last month I did a strength block and got to ~370 bench, 545 deadlift, and 495 squat. I would say probably more like 355/500/450 if I were to go max tomorrow. Mainly on account of the dieting, and I have been doing moderately low intensity and high volume so would need a while to go through a good periodization to hit my true maxes again.

-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.

semi-srs. looking good op.

EDIT: Can you aweir us on how you lost 21lbs in 3 weeks? That's crazy
Well, more like 2.5 years. Also this is already being 9 years in. If I was starting from DYEL mode, 2.5 years would have been a MUCH more dramatic difference. But my FFMI was already well into the 20's in the before pic, so there's only so much you can do.

As for the 21 lb. in 3 weeks, I did PSMF.

Spoiler!
