How are the billionaires doing? (good news for miscers)
For context, it took most of these guys a lifetime of work to amass $3T of wealth.
In just the last 9 months, they ZOOMED from $3T to $4T. BOOM.The largest transfer of wealth to the top 1% in economic history, boyos.
This is horrible news for most people, but not for miscers who are all elite MONEYMOGGERS. Shall we pop another bottle?

In b4 we tell the plebcels that it will trickle down

A rapidly growing wealth gap means we will segregate into a small group of super elites and everyone else working poor. That's not really a partisan view, it's measurable economic reality.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but everyone on the list, except the Waltons, are new money. You can make an argument against mackenzie scott, but she did help create amazon.
Maybe we should just try and be better instead of complaining.

Lol @ thinking having a million million dollars somehow makes them happier with their lives. I promise you they and their families are just as miserable as the rest of us. We all have highs and lows in life no need to obsess over wanting to be inferior.

I more than doubled my net worth this year as well. The stock market plunge opened up so many opportunities. You didn’t need to be a billionaire to make it.
And I’ll pay a ton in taxes so that some simp doesn’t have to pay his college bills that I worked 3 jobs to pay for.

They arent rich BECAUSE people are poor. They are rich because they worked for it. Took HUGE risks, invested, grew their brands/jobs etc. You couldconfiscatesteal their entire wealth and it would run the US gov for less than a year. The growing gap between the rich and the poor is MUUUUUUUCH more complex than just the rich getting richer. It has a lot to do with chit like Walmart getting to stay open during lock down when small businesses have to close down. Or when BLM gets to loot and destroy businesses while mayors and governors do nothing about it and even encourage it.

I can’t even make this up. This is happening tomorrow. Is that not some sinister chit? Like is he fuking with us?
I’m not participating though - we had an ugly Christmas sweater party where we had to vote for best sweater ... I showed up on the zoom call wearing a black Nike hoodie and simply said “I don’t own a Christmas sweater”
