Is it possible for an attractive man and a cute woman to be platonic friends only?

I think I'm falling for a co-worker but he is also probably my best friend

I do not know if he likes me that way and very confused about our relationship recently

I want to be friends forever with him but I also know that he needs more that an office friend/buddy

I don't know what to do but I know if we have sex it will change everything...

No way in hell. Even if both sides have innocent intentions and genuinely do like each other as friends, if you spend enough time together one side is eventually going to want more. Usually it's always always the guy, who gets forced to spill his guts, she says no, and the friendship that they once had falls apart. After a long time it can be repaired into something where you casually talk every once in a while, but hanging out every week or every few weeks will never happen ever again after that. Nor will the same level of free flirting from the guy to the girl, and now that the girl knows he's interested it's just awkward to her if he does and she's uncomfortable.

Ha that was my exact story to a tee with this Colombian coworker I worked with for 4 years. Never saw her that way until one day I did. Not my fault or hers but she took way too much leading me on and I eventually got really pissed off and refused to be her friend for a good 2 years or so. We talk now but we'll never hang out like that again.

I'm in that exact situation right now. I have a fiance, but hang out with my co-worker quite regularly. She likes me a lot and I like her too as a friend but I know she wants more. I have to set the boundaries almost every single time we meet. I have fantasized about her a few times and I don't like that but it is only human nature.

I refuse to cheat on my girl, so I don't do certain things with my co-worker, such as go to each other's house, or go out for lunch without any reason. Normally we go hiking, or go to the office to work together.

Always remember, you both want to fk each other, no matter how much you claim you don't, accept that and if you can trust yourself, then you can stay friends. If not, then don't even try.

TLDR:
You can't be friends, unless you trust yourself completely.

I have had several girls who I considered very good friends over the years. however I am not like most guys. One girl I am still friends with to this day was married and clearly wanted more. I wouldnt say it was an emotional affair because I made it very clear I respected her husband and told her how important family was. some guys would have tried to banged

We share a lot of interests but more importantly personality wise we are very compatible

Also he knows I’m trying to get more toned and is going to help me so we will be spending more out of office time together
