and today, i blueprint

No meetings on the books today boyos, because I'm recovering from a fkn hair transplant (ded fkn Srs) and don't want to be seen on camera, so I'm going to be stalking through different Fortune500 company's org charts via LinkedIn, ZoomInfo etc to create blueprints across their different business units in an effort to harass them via phone, email, etc.


I'll be listening to self-affirmation YouTube videos while doing so, and reminding myself that while this work is tedious, if I can get Burlington Coat Factory to buy my chit, it's gonna put like $50k in my wallet (ded fkn Srs)

i will say, when I compare it to what many of my friends do, i don't think i'd trade it for 90% of other jobs all things considered (pay, difficulty of work, freedom, work/life balance, etc.) (ded fkn Srs)

Yeah I mean it sucks because I did this job for almost 4 years and then got gassed before making it to the equivalent of an AE in SAAS

Now I’m back at BDE at 29 ....


I need to make at least 20 dials this morning tho snd it’s already 9:17am

Haven’t actually put any new leads into salesforce either

May go take a nap

I think casual is good for sure -- I've always been a big fan of VERY brief, like stupid brief.


From my understanding you in particular are calling on a lot of CEOs (I think?). If you can keep it to like, one or two sentences max, I feel like it resonates with these guys. They aren't going to read a ****ing essay.



I also never ask for 30 min / 15 min etc. like every other sales person. My ask is something like "would it be crazy to have an exploratory conversation next week?"



I deal with HR primarily, which are either soypilled beta Timothy's, or legit Barbaras, so I can't afford to be as direct with them as I might be with an alpha CEO.





edit: saw you asked about the subject, not the actual e-mail lol



my subjects range from "[company name] hiring" (because I sell HR software) to "[competitor's name] talent strategy", and i'll test out all sorts of other ones too "connect?" "point in right direction?"


BTW.... all of my subjects are all lowercase, because it sort of sets me apart from automated spam imo

I typically like to read about their company or scan for news using google news

So for example I reached out to this ceo the other day and mentioned I saw an article on yahoo finance about their strong stock growth over the past 5 years - and it kind of opened him up a bit

I didn’t actually give a chit about his inflated stock price tbh tho
