Windchill has no purpose other than allowing females to be dramatic, and anyone who quotes it deserves a backhand slap. You're not standing naked in the middle of a field so who tf cares about your made up numbers? Use thermometers to measure the temperature and save the feelings charts for diagnosing mental illness.

Basically this. Media is just being dramatic and injecting more fear into the world. Wind sure has an affect on things, and makes stuff a lot colder by robbing the body of heat faster.

Even still, tell me the ******t temp, then the wind speed, and fuk off so I can make my own clothing choices.

When you say its cold some dumb fuk always chimes in: I was in (yukon, Alaska, Nunavut, wherever...) and it was -80!! Small echo (with windchill)
