We have crossed the Rubicon of reconciliation.

There's two countries/ cultures/ ideologies inside our country, both on the complete opposite spectrum and both unwilling to move to the center.

Biden will push the country further to the left, and we all know how Marxists policies work out in the end.

I wouldn’t say Biden is anymore corporatist than previous presidents. American manufacturing has been in decline since the 70s, there’s literally no way to revive it unless Americans are happy to pay more for things that currently come from China.

No, everyone thought Obama would be a moderate president, but in his first two years, he destroyed health insurance for everyone who had it. It's great that it's accessible to people who couldn't previously afford it, but now it's unaffordable to everyone who once could...even if you get an affordable plan, you can't use it because the deductibles are astronomical.

I don't buy this thought that Biden is a moderate or that the Republicans will keep him in check if they can hold the Senate. There are already signs he'll continue on Obama's path and run his administration similarly to Obama. That suggest to me we'll see more and more executive actions to circumvent Congress. Even when the Supreme Court determines them unconstitutional, the damage will already be done and it will be irreversible.

You can hate Trump all you want, but he was one of the most transparent presidents in history. Part of the hate for him came from the fact that he lifted that curtain and let us see what goes on behind the scenes...we didn't want to know and we didn't like what we saw. I expect Biden to close that curtain again, let the agencies go back to doing all kinds of shady stuff we won't know about. I expect we'll see journalists harassed like Obama did when Biden doesn't like the reporting. I think we'll see the government used to retaliate/attack his political enemies, and the media won't report on it because they don't want to lose access to the White House...and i think it will get worse if/when he doesn't make it through his term and Harris ascends to the presidency.
