although in all fairness, I think lack of education is the main culprit here

because in the top birth rate ones there are some majority christian ones

the only strong trend here is Africa which coincides with low literacy rates

and the GLOBAL trend that within most/any country the lower class has on average the most children also supports the education/literacy thing
