And to the op^^ Sure, you can say that to anything, but supporting one less scam sure is better. A scam that is setting humanity back non the less. The ramifications will be huge for decades. Rewarding obvious bad behavior which could have easily been avoided, is the least I would expect from a decent person.

Why not just ditch bitcoin and focus on building something better instead???? Thats the rational approach, but of course humans gotta act irrational and emotional with everything.
why not scam money from people who are greedy enough to buy bitcoin and donate the money to charities then?

ill be like Robin Hood (no pun intended) but the crypto version

Bitcoin is riding high due to Covid and the unsettled presidential election. In a couple of years when Covid is a non-issue and distant memory and we have a secured election and economy. Bitcoin will again be forgotten about. Why the fukk didn't everyone buy Bitcoin when it was floating at 10Kish for like a year? Why wasn't everyone talking about it then?
but bitcoin can be innovative as it can be a form of alternative currency

and bitcoin was around way before covid and election turbulence in 2014 then it crashed and sky rocketed in 2017 then crashed and now its back

Bitcoin doesn´t dive much innovation these days, it only did in the beginning. Other so called alt coins drive innovation. Bitcoin has pretty much reached it´s potenial. And by supporting bitcoin you spend creativity and energy on a black hole. Money, time, energy would be much better spent on actual useful crypto products where the usecases stand in focus. That would be the rational thing to do

But no. Intstead, billions of dollars, chit ton of electricty, a ton of time. Spent on what exactly? Keeping alive a decentralized ledger that can´t really do much or provide much value anymore. A dying system which is fundamentally flawed and manipulated.

I guess humans are just too stubborn, dumb or greedy to just admit that they were wrong and start all over again. Bitcoin will not only be presented and studied as a failed experiment in the future, because of trying to create scarcity out of thin air, but also because of the human psychology behind it´s temporary success.

its so dead that these companies decided to use it

and fiat currency is also manipulated too at larger scale look at how china floods the market with their currency to ensure their products are cheap and continues exporting them
