I listened to nothing but right wing sources for 6 months prior to the election, srs. I just don't find any of the theories more believable than the truth. I was actually a bit active on the R&P board and i could have almost been considered a trumper.

The election - Trump would have won had there not been mail in ballots. The mail in ballots allowed the Democrats to set up shop in highly populated blue areas and were able to register so many blue voters that would have NEVER voted in person. This explains why there were 150m votes this year compared to ~130 most ears.
They simply had a more successful mail in ballot strategy than the Republicans.

I don't have any concrete idea of what exactly is going on, but a few things just from thinking/reading/and personal experience

I believe the virus was biologically altered. Whether or not there was bad intentions and by who, IDK. But back in January my coach who is extremely intelligent in the science field was studying it already and came to the conclusion that it had definitely been touched by humans.

I also know it is very real and can be dangerous. I am extremely healthy, but I caught it this summer (haven't even been sick in 10 years) and thought I was going to die. Was out for 3 weeks Worst sickness of my life. Very srs

Where you might see me as a bit crazy is that I think there are very wealthy forces(global elite etc), using politicians to 100% take advantage of the situation and potentially accelerating a sort of "wealth transfer". Things like an attempt at instilling a more socialist, globalist type of landscape where they rule and everyone else is poor, elimination of the middle class. These are the main reasons I'm heavily opposed to things like gun control, shutdowns etc.

Conspiracy theorist types tend to be more paranoid and untrusting, while IMO the other side is too naive and trusting. The people I know irl who are all pro shutdown etc seem naive to the possibilities of how manipulative humans can be.

I 100% believe what is being reported to me through local news outlets is the truth. Think about it - how impossible would it be to pretend that all ICU beds in my province are full when they aren't. Everyone in the province has 2 degrees of separation from someone in the health care field, surely there would be a whistleblower somewhere, a nurse, an orderly, something?

And guess what, our hospitals weren't full this spring when we locked down. It was a proactive measure that with hindsight looks like it was overkill.

That is the reality where I live, LooksMaximus. We cruised through the summer with little to no cases and certainly could have had the same type of restrictions that Sweden had. In fact I was supporting Sweden. The spring lockdowns, with hindsight, were an overreaction. I attached a trend with covid related hospitalizations for my province. Once schools returned and cold weather hit the cases skyrocketed. A big factor affecting the healthcare system is the government rules on covid for lack of a better word. If someone comes in contact with a covid positive case they have to self isolate for 10 days....one infected nurse can take a team of 10 out for 10 days. This strains the manpower situation. Plus actual nurses getting sick and taking time off work.

Maybe they're being too cautious and putting people in beds that don't need to be - I'm not sure.

That's not true at all, OP. The majority of theories touted by CT'ers are nonsense, but big international moves can't be hidden and neither can their intentions when you see what happens as a result of their actions. All you have to do is watch how the chips fall and everything becomes crystal clear. The confusion comes from a myriad of places, but for those that are paying attention it's plain as day, eventually.
